Celebrating two Railways legends at once? Our Two Player Banner brings both milestones together on a single premium banner - just provide both names, guernsey numbers, and what they're being recognised for. Double the occasion, one great banner.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations

Available in Small, Medium, and Large, our Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks - perfect for the clubrooms, the shed, or the games room. A lasting tribute to the Railways and the community they represent.

About Northam Railways Football Club
Origins and Founding
Northam Railways Football Club was established in 1968 following a merger between the Unions and Towns clubs in Northam. The newly formed Railways entered the Avon Football Association (AFA) that same year, taking the Bombers as their nickname and adopting Henry Street Oval in Northam as their home ground. The merger united two established local clubs into a single football entity that would go on to become a cornerstone of Avon Valley football.
Club History
In their debut season of 1969, the Bombers claimed their first AFA premiership - a remarkable achievement for a newly formed club. Since then, Northam Railways has won seven AFA premierships across six decades: 1969, 1984, 1995, 1999, 2007, 2009, and 2018. The 2018 flag, won 50 years after the club's formation, was a historic milestone celebrated with a 50th anniversary event in July 2018. The Bombers have been consistent AFA competitors, representing the Northam community against other Avon Valley clubs including Federals, Cunderdin, Beverley, Kellerberrin-Tammin, Quairading, and York.
Home Ground
The Bombers play at Henry Street Oval in Northam, which serves as the club's training and match venue. The ground is shared with Northam Federals Football Club, reflecting the compact football landscape of a regional town. Henry Street Oval sits centrally in Northam and provides the focal point for the local football community on match days throughout the AFA season.
Community and Programs
Northam Railways is central to the sporting and social life of the Northam community. The club plays an important role in the region's youth development through its junior programs, helping pathway players into the senior AFA competition. West Coast Eagles have run super clinics in Northam through the Railways club, connecting regional players with AFL-level coaching. The Railways Facebook community has grown to over 1,200 followers, reflecting strong local support for the Bombers across the Avon Valley.
Northam
Northam is the largest inland town in Western Australia, located approximately 97 kilometres east of Perth in the Avon Valley. With a population of around 7,000 people, it is the administrative centre of the Shire of Northam and serves as a service hub for the surrounding agricultural region. Northam sits on the Avon River and is known for its historic architecture, the white swans on the river, and its role as the start of the Avon Descent white water race held each August.
The Bombers compete in the Avon Football Association and call Henry Street Oval home. Find them on Facebook or follow them on Instagram.

Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
