Whether it's a milestone game, a milestone birthday, or a season to remember, FootyBanners.com has you covered with a custom banner that proudly features your Officer Kangaroos player. From junior debut to career games, we create banners the whole club will talk about.

Simple to Order

Ordering your Kangaroos banner is quick and easy. Choose from our Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner options. Simply provide the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Jake Thompson, #7, 50 Games. All banners are printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty paper that stands up to whatever an afternoon in Victoria can throw at it, rain or shine.

Two Players, One Banner

Celebrating two players reaching the same milestone on the same day? Our Two Player banner is the perfect solution. Provide both names and guernsey numbers and we will bring them together on a single quality banner that does justice to both players.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

When the whole squad deserves recognition, our Team Banner option lets you feature 3 to 6 players on the one banner. Use a powerful top-line message like "Officer Kangaroos - Building Champions" to rally the group and showcase your club's spirit. A great way to mark a special round or end-of-season celebration.

Wall Keepsake Banners

Available in Small, Medium, and Large, our Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks built to last. Perfect for hanging in the clubrooms, the garage, or the games room, these keepsakes let your Kangaroos supporter show their pride every day of the year.

Grand Final Banners

Going all the way? Our Grand Final banners come in 4.5m and 5.5m sizes, fully customised with your top and bottom text. Contact us for design advice and let us help the Officer Kangaroos Football Club run through something truly special on the biggest day of the season.

About Officer Kangaroos Junior Football Club

Origins and Founding

The Officer Kangaroos Junior Football Club was founded in 2001, with its inaugural Annual General Meeting held on 23 May 2001 at the Officer Recreation Rooms. The club was formed to provide a dedicated junior Australian rules football pathway for the rapidly growing outer south-east suburb of Officer, filling a gap between the local Auskick program and the senior grade. From the outset, the club affiliated with the South East Juniors competition, the principal junior Australian rules football competition for Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs and Cardinia Shire.

The name "Kangaroos" - and the familiar "Roos" nickname - links the junior club to the Officer Football Club (ROC), the suburb's senior club, which itself was born in 1977 from an amalgamation of the Officer and Rythdale-Cardinia Football Clubs and now competes in the AFL Outer East Football Netball League.

Club History

Since its formation in 2001, the Officer Kangaroos JFC has grown in step with Officer itself - one of Melbourne's fastest-expanding outer suburbs. By the 2023 season the club was fielding 24 teams and had more than 400 registered players on its books, spanning boys and girls from Under 8s through to Under 18s. The growth from a handful of junior sides at the turn of the millennium to a club of this scale reflects the extraordinary pace of residential development in the Cardinia Shire corridor.

The club runs dedicated girls teams alongside its mixed and boys sides, reflecting a strong commitment to gender-inclusive participation that has become central to the club's identity across all age groups.

Home Ground

The Officer Kangaroos call Rob Porter Recreation Reserve their home. The Reserve at 20 Starling Road, Officer, has served the Officer community since 1928, when the Officer Sports Club was formed to raise funds to build a sporting oval for football, cricket, and the broader community. The Western Oval is the main playing surface and also hosts the club's Auskick program on Sunday mornings during the April-to-July season.

The Reserve expanded significantly in the 2000s, with a second oval constructed around 2007 and a new pavilion completed in 2009. The Reserve is named in honour of Rob Porter, who served as senior coach of the ROC Football Club from 1989 and whose family has deep roots in the Officer community. Rob Porter passed away in 2023.

Community and Programs

The Officer Kangaroos JFC operates within the broader Officer Sports Club precinct alongside the ROC Football Club, ROC Netball Club, Officer Cricket Club, and other community groups. The club runs the Officer Auskick program as the entry point for the youngest participants, feeding directly into its Under 8s junior competition teams.

The club places strong emphasis on being a family-friendly environment. Players from all skill levels are welcomed, and the club actively encourages new families moving into the rapidly developing Officer area to get involved. With over 400 players in 2023, the Kangaroos represent one of the larger junior football clubs operating under the South East Juniors umbrella.

Officer, Victoria

Officer is a suburb in Melbourne's outer south-east, located 48 km from the CBD in the Shire of Cardinia. At the 2021 census, Officer recorded a population of 18,503, making it the second most populous suburb in Cardinia Shire after Pakenham. The suburb sits at an elevation of 127 metres and is characterised by rapid greenfield residential development, with large parcels of land progressively subdivided as Melbourne's south-eastern growth corridor continues to expand. Officer also serves as the administrative seat of the Shire of Cardinia.

The Kangaroos compete in the South East Juniors and call Rob Porter Recreation Reserve, Officer, home. Visit the club website for registration information and the latest club news, and follow Officer Kangaroos Junior Football Club on Facebook for match day updates and community news.

    🔧 Preparation & Run-Through Setup - Expert instructions for break-through milestone banners.

    • Rigging Your Banner

      • Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.

      • This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.

    • Creating the Break-Through Slits

      • Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

      • Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.

    💡 Tips & Tricks

    • Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.

    • Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
