Simply provide the player's name, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Jake Wilson, #7, 100 Games. We use permanent inks on heavy-duty paper so your banner holds up whether it's a cold Melbourne winter morning or a crisp autumn afternoon at the ground.
Two Players, One Banner
Got two Monders players celebrating the same milestone? Our Two Player Banner is the perfect way to honour both at once. Just provide each player's name and guernsey number and we'll create a quality banner that makes the moment even more memorable.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Our Team Banner option fits 3 to 6 players on a single banner - perfect for celebrating a whole group together. Set a top-line message like "Monders - 100 Games Club 2025" and let the banner do the talking. A great way to bring the whole squad together for a lasting keepsake.

About Ormond Monders Junior Football Club
Origins and Founding
The Ormond Monders Junior Football Club has been part of the local community since the 1950s, making it one of the longer-established junior Australian Rules football clubs in Melbourne's south-east. The club was originally known under the Ormond name and competed in the Southern Metropolitan Junior Football League (SMJFL) from its earliest years. At its AGM on 1 October 2000, the club formalised its name to Ormond Junior Football Club as it expanded its program and team numbers, growing from seven teams to the large multi-team organisation it is today.
Club History
Today the Monders field 22 teams across multiple age groups in the Southern Metropolitan Junior Football League (SMJFL), one of Victoria's premier junior competitions. The club has long served as a key development pathway in the Glen Eira area, producing players who have gone on to the highest levels of the game. Among its most notable alumni is Jack Higgins, who played for the Ormond JFC from 2007 to 2011 before being drafted to the Richmond Football Club, where he played 43 games across three seasons. Higgins was subsequently traded to St Kilda in 2020 and remains one of the most prominent AFL players developed through the club's junior program. His career is documented on his Wikipedia page.
Home Ground
The Monders play their home games at EE Gunn Reserve in Ormond. The ground was formerly known as Ormond Park before being renamed in 1964 in honour of Councillor Ernest Edwin Gunn, a former Mayor of the area and past president of the Ormond Cricket Club. EE Gunn Reserve remains a well-used community sporting facility that the club has called home throughout its long history, providing a familiar and welcoming base for players, families, and supporters of all ages.
Community and Programs
The Ormond JFC offers a complete football pathway from Auskick right through to senior women's and men's football, ensuring players in the area can develop continuously within the one club community. With 22 active teams, the club is one of the largest junior programs in the SMJFL and provides opportunities for boys and girls across every age group. In 2026, the club celebrated a landmark achievement when its first-ever girls-only junior team took the field for Round 1, reflecting the club's growing commitment to women's football. The club's volunteer-driven committee and coaching staff maintain a strong culture of inclusion, development, and community connection.
Ormond
Ormond is a well-established residential suburb located within the City of Glen Eira, approximately 12 kilometres south-east of the Melbourne CBD. The suburb recorded a population of 8,328 at the 2021 Census and is known for its leafy streets, strong community networks, and easy access to public transport via the Sandringham and Frankston rail lines. It sits alongside the neighbouring suburbs of Bentleigh, McKinnon, and Caulfield South, with Centre Road serving as the main commercial strip. Ormond's established character and close-knit community make it an ideal home for a football club with deep local roots.
The Monders compete in the SMJFL and call EE Gunn Reserve, Ormond their home. Visit the club website for news, fixtures, and registration details, follow them on Facebook for community updates and match-day content.

-
Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
