Pegs Juniors Football Banners - Celebrate Every Young Peg's Big Day

From a junior player's first milestone to an end-of-season team celebration, FootyBanners.com creates custom banners for the Pegs Juniors that make every moment feel truly special. A personalised banner is the perfect way to reward your young Peg and create a lasting memory for the whole family.

Simple to Order

Order a Single Player Banner by providing the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Lachlan Harris, #9, 50 Games. Our banners are printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty, weatherproof paper built to handle whatever the SA weather brings to game day. A perfect keepsake for young footballers starting their journey.

Two Players, One Banner

Celebrating two junior Pegs at once? Our Two Player Banner lets you honour both young players on a single premium banner - just provide both names, guernsey numbers, and the milestone. A great way to recognise two best mates on the same day.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

Celebrate the whole junior squad with a Team Banner featuring 3 to 6 players. Set a fun message like "Pegs Juniors - Future Stars of SA Football" and give every young player something to run through with a huge smile. A memorable touch for any end-of-season presentation or finals day.

Wall Keepsake Banners

Available in Small, Medium, and Large, our Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks - perfect for a child's bedroom, the games room, or the family garage. A forever reminder of their early Pegs footy days.

Grand Final Banners

Available in 4.5m and 5.5m sizes with fully customised top and bottom text. Contact us for personalised design advice for your Pegs Juniors grand final or presentation day.

About PEGS Junior Football Club

Origins and Founding

PEGS Junior Football Club is the junior arm of the Penleigh and Essendon Grammarians Football Club (PEGS FC), based at the Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School sports fields at 127 Wright Road, Keilor Park. The junior club is an open community football organisation - not restricted to school students - and was established to provide boys from the Keilor Park and surrounding north-western Melbourne suburbs with a pathway into the Western Region Football League (WRFL), which operates as part of the AFL Victoria community structure. Junior players compete across age divisions from Under-8s to Under-14s.

Club History

PEGS Juniors is affiliated with the senior PEGS Football Club, which was founded in 1968 as the Old Essendon Grammarians Football Club (OEGFC) and has competed in the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA) since 1984. The junior club operates under the WRFL, which participates in AFL Community programmes through AFL Victoria. PEGS Juniors celebrated its first junior premiership when the Under-12s won the Western Region FL Grand Final, a milestone for the club's junior program. The junior club operates as a distinct entity from the senior VAFA side, providing players aged 8 to 14 with structured competition before transitioning to the senior ranks.

Home Ground

PEGS Juniors plays home games at the PEGS Sports Ground, located at 127 Wright Road, Keilor Park, in Melbourne's north-west. The ground is situated on the Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School campus and provides dedicated oval facilities for both the junior and senior football clubs, as well as other school sports. Keilor Park is approximately 15 kilometres north-west of the Melbourne CBD, with convenient access from the Western Ring Road corridor.

Community and Programs

As an open community club, PEGS Juniors welcomes players from all families in the Keilor Park, Keilor East, Tullamarine, Essendon North, and surrounding areas - not just those attending Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School. The club fields teams from Under-8s through to Under-14s in the Western Region Football League competition, with training sessions held at the PEGS Sports Ground. The junior club operates alongside the school's football program, and players who develop through the junior ranks have a pathway into the senior PEGS Football Club competing in the VAFA.

Keilor Park

Keilor Park is a suburb in Melbourne's north-west, located within the City of Brimbank approximately 15 kilometres from the CBD. The suburb is bordered by Keilor East, Tullamarine, and Essendon North, and sits near the junction of the Western Ring Road and Calder Freeway, providing excellent transport links across metropolitan Melbourne. The City of Brimbank is one of Melbourne's most diverse municipalities, and the broader Keilor area has strong community sporting traditions across football, soccer, cricket, and netball.

The Bombers compete in the Western Region Football League and call the PEGS Sports Ground in Keilor Park home. Visit the club website for more information and follow them on Facebook for news and match day updates.

    📄 Material & Construction

    • Premium Coated Paper (1.6 m high) printed with permanent, waterproof inks—won’t run or fade, even in wet weather.

    • Eco-friendly & Recyclable: All banners are fully recyclable when the celebration is over.

    • Durable weatherproof sports banners printed on heavy-duty coated paper - these banners are not made of crepe paper.

    🔧 Preparation & Run-Through Setup - Expert instructions for break-through milestone banners.

    • Rigging Your Banner

      • Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.

      • This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.

    • Creating the Break-Through Slits

      • Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

      • Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.

    💡 Tips & Tricks

    • Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.

    • Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
