Simple to Order
Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner options. For player banners, simply provide the name, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Marcus Hill, #5, 100 Games. All banners are printed with permanent weatherproof inks on heavy-duty paper, built to last through a warm South Australian afternoon at the ground.
Two Players, One Banner
If two Kings are sharing the same milestone, celebrate both on a single run-through banner. Provide both names and guernsey numbers, and make sure both players are reaching the same milestone. A quality two-player banner gives two proud Kings a moment to share forever.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Feature 3-6 players on a Team Banner for a grand final celebration or season highlight. Customise the top-line message - something like "Pembroke Kings - Long May We Reign!" - and create a banner your whole club will run through proudly. Go the Kings!

About Pembroke Kings Football Club
Origins and Founding
The Pembroke Kings Football Club, officially known as the Pembroke Old Scholars Football Club, was founded in 1932 by former students of King's College in Adelaide. Operating initially as the King's College Old Scholars Football Club, the club entered the South Australian Amateur Football League (SAAFL) and competed during the 1930s and into the 1940s before a wartime interruption. The club participated in the SAAFL from 1936 to 1940 and returned to competition in 1946 following the conclusion of World War II. In 1978 the club rebranded to the Pembroke Old Scholars Football Club following the renaming of the school to Pembroke School, and in 1990 the Kings nickname was formally adopted, honouring the club's original connection to King's College.
Club History
The Pembroke Kings have maintained a continuous presence in Adelaide's amateur football competition for more than nine decades, making them one of the longest-serving clubs in the Adelaide Footy League. The club has navigated the various restructures and rebrands of the South Australian Amateur Football League and its successor competition over the years, consistently fielding teams from its base in Adelaide's eastern suburbs. The Kings compete in Division 3 of the Adelaide Footy League, representing Pembroke School's old scholar community while also welcoming players from the broader community. The club's longevity is a testament to the enduring loyalty of the Pembroke School alumni network and the broader community membership that has sustained the club through generations.
Home Ground
The Pembroke Kings play their home matches at grounds associated with Pembroke School in Kensington Park, an eastern suburb of Adelaide. Pembroke School is an independent co-educational school with a long history of sporting achievement across football, cricket, swimming, and other disciplines. The school's sporting facilities serve as the base for the old scholars football club, maintaining a direct link between the playing fields and the institution that gave birth to the club in 1932.
Community and Programs
The Pembroke Kings field senior men's teams in the Adelaide Footy League and maintain strong ties to Pembroke School's alumni community. The club's membership includes both former students of Pembroke School and community players drawn from across Adelaide's eastern suburbs who share the club's values and competitive spirit. The Kings have a strong social culture built around the old scholars tradition, with events and activities that connect current and former players to the club's nine-decade history. Women's football has grown as part of the broader Adelaide Footy League expansion, and the Kings have participated in this growth within the competition.
Kensington Park
Kensington Park is an inner eastern suburb of Adelaide, situated approximately 5 kilometres east of the Adelaide CBD within the City of Burnside. The suburb is characterised by leafy streets, heritage homes, and proximity to the Kensington and Norwood shopping precincts along The Parade. The City of Burnside is one of Adelaide's most established and affluent local government areas, encompassing suburbs known for their high-quality housing stock and strong community sporting culture. Kensington Park is bordered by Norwood, Kensington, and Toorak Gardens, and sits within walking distance of Kensington Oval, one of South Australia's notable cricket grounds.
For more information about the club, search for Pembroke Kings on the Adelaide Footy League website.
Footy Banner Information
Material: All Footy Banners are printed on 1.6 Metre high coated paper using permanent inks which will not run, even if they get wet. They are fully recyclable.
How to Use: We recommend taping broomsticks or plastic pipe to the ends of the banner to hold it flat whilst the player runs through it. If you cut vertical slits in the banner in the centre, it creates a weak spot where it will break and look best when run through. There are instructions and images for how to cut these in the FAQ section below.
On a windy day, cut smaller vertical slits in the Footy Banner so if the wind catches it, it doesn't rip too soon! This is why we do not pre-cut them, and also so you can get photographs with your intact banner when it looks at it's best.
Tip: Some players choose to only cut one weak spot in their banner so it can be saved and displayed later by taping it back together on the back.Pro Tip: Cut the weak spot to one side of the mascot or team logo so it stays intact as well!
Return and Refund Policy
As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.
