Port Noarlunga Banners - Celebrating the Cockle Divers' Finest Moments

Whether it's a 50-game milestone or a 200-game legend, FootyBanners.com makes it easy to honour your Port Noarlunga Cockle Divers player in style. Our custom banners are built for the Southern Football League and crafted to withstand anything a South Australian afternoon can throw at them.

Simple to Order

Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banners. Just provide the player's name, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Jake Thompson, #7, 100 Games. Printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper, your banner will hold up through every blustery South Australian match day.

Two Players, One Banner

When two Cockle Divers hit the same milestone in the same game, celebrate them both together. Our Two Player banner captures both names and guernsey numbers in one great keepsake for the club and the families involved.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

Recognise three to six players at once with a Team Banner - perfect for a pre-season award night or a group of Cockle Divers all reaching the same mark. Add a custom top-line message like "Port Noarlunga Cockle Divers - Celebrating Our Best" and close with a rallying club tagline.

Wall Keepsake Banners

Available in Small, Medium, and Large, our Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks - built to last on the clubroom wall, in the garage, or taking pride of place in a Cockle Divers fan's games room.

Grand Final Banners

For the biggest game of the Port Noarlunga Football Club's season, we offer 4.5m and 5.5m Grand Final banners with fully customised top and bottom text. Contact us for design advice so your banner makes the right statement when it matters most.

About Port Noarlunga Football Club

Origins and Founding

The Port Noarlunga Football Club - known as the Cockle Divers - was first formed in 1935, initially competing in the Glenelg District Football Association for four seasons before going into recess. A revived club rejoined competition in 1947 when it entered the Southern Football Association, which has since evolved into the Southern Football League (SFL). The club has been a fixture of the southern suburbs football scene for more than 75 years since its revival, building a loyal following in the Port Noarlunga community and surrounding coastal areas.

Club History

The Cockle Divers have won 5 SFL premierships across their history, in 1965, 1973, 1985, 1997, and most recently in 2025, making them one of the more decorated clubs in the Southern Football League era. The club has a proud record of producing AFL-level talent: Ryan Fitzgerald played for the Adelaide Crows and Sydney Swans after coming through the Port Noarlunga ranks, Matt Coulthard played for the Richmond Football Club, and Noah Howes was selected by the Collingwood Football Club in the 2025 AFL Mid-Season Draft. Additional future prospects including Archie Van Dyk are eligible for the upcoming draft, indicating the club's continued role as a talent pipeline at state and national level. Read more about the club at the Port Noarlunga Football Club Wikipedia page.

Home Ground

The Cockle Divers play at Port Noarlunga Oval in Port Noarlunga South, a well-used community ground adjacent to the suburb's foreshore and coastal parklands. The oval is easily accessible from the surrounding suburbs and provides a scenic setting for one of Adelaide's southernmost football clubs. The facility hosts the club's senior men's, senior women's, and junior programs throughout the season.

Community and Programs

The Port Noarlunga FC fields teams in senior and junior grades of the Southern Football League and has continued to grow its women's football program in recent years. The club is described on its own website as a community hub that "provides opportunities for locals to enjoy sport within an environment that embraces strong community values." From the youngest juniors through to experienced senior players, the club offers a pathway for all ages and abilities across the Port Noarlunga area.

Port Noarlunga

Port Noarlunga is a coastal suburb of Adelaide, located approximately 30 kilometres south of the CBD in the City of Onkaparinga. The suburb sits at the mouth of the Onkaparinga River on the Gulf St Vincent and is known for its popular swimming beach, protected marine sanctuary reef, and the historic Port Noarlunga Jetty. The area attracts significant tourist interest due to its natural features, and its residential community has a relaxed coastal character. Nearby suburbs include Noarlunga Centre, Christies Beach, and Seaford.

The Cockle Divers compete in the Southern Football League and call Port Noarlunga Oval, Port Noarlunga South home. Visit the Port Noarlunga FC website for club news, fixtures, and membership information, and follow the club on Facebook for match-day updates.

  • Footy Banner Information

All Footy Banners are printed on 1.6 Metre high coated paper using solvent inks which will not run, even if they get wet.

We recommend taping broomsticks to the ends of the banner to hold it flat whilst the player runs through it.  if you cut vertical slits in the banner in the centre, it creates a weak spot where it will break and look best when run through.

On a windy day, cut smaller vertical slits in the Footy Banner so if the wind catches it, it doesn't rip too soon!

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
