Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner options. Provide the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Matthew Quinn, #18, 100 Games. Banners are printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty, weatherproof paper, perfect for a crisp Canberra-region afternoon at Queanbeyan.

Two Players, One Banner

When two Tigers reach milestones in the same game, our Two Player Banner honours both achievements on one great banner. Provide each player's name and guernsey number and we'll take care of the rest.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

The Team Banner option accommodates 3 to 6 players, making it ideal for end-of-season presentations and group recognitions. A top-line message like "Queanbeyan Tigers - Roaring Since 1925" sets a proud tone for any celebration. A brilliant way to honour the whole squad.

About Queanbeyan Tigers

Origins and Founding

The Queanbeyan Tigers Australian Football Club was founded in 1925 and is one of the oldest and most successful clubs in the ACT-Queanbeyan region. The club's first recorded affiliation was with the Federal Territory Football League in 1925-26, before joining the Canberra Australian National Football League in 1927. The club's distinctive black and gold identity was cemented in 1935, when VFL powerhouse Richmond donated a set of playing jumpers - a colour scheme the Tigers have proudly worn ever since. The club draws players, supporters and administrators from a region of approximately 100,000 people covering the Division of Eden-Monaro.

Club History

The Queanbeyan Tigers have won 15 AFL Canberra premierships, making them one of the most successful clubs in the competition's history. The club claimed back-to-back-to-back titles in 1939, 1940 and 1941, and added further flags in 1953, 1954 and 1956. After a long gap, the Tigers rebuilt into a dominant force through the 1980s and 1990s, winning premierships in 1985, 1988, 1989, 1991, 1998, 1999 and 2000. In the modern era the club claimed the NEAFL Eastern Conference title in 2012, defeating the Sydney Swans by 30 points, and has since added AFL Canberra premierships in 2015, 2020, 2022 and 2024. The club's record grand final attendance was approximately 10,000 spectators at the 1985 grand final, when Queanbeyan defeated Ainslie 23.18 (156) to 14.13 (97). AFL and VFL players produced by the club include Robert Anderson (Footscray), Wayne Carroll (South Melbourne), Kevin Delmenico (Footscray), Michael Kennedy (Brisbane Lions), Jack Lucas (Sydney Swans), Keith Schow (Collingwood), Lindsay White (Geelong and South Melbourne), and Roy Williams (Collingwood).

Home Ground

The Tigers currently play at Aulich Park in Queanbeyan. The club was previously based at Dairy Farmers Park from 1979, where supporters raised $800,000 - alongside grants from the Tigers Licensed Club - to build facilities including a roofed grandstand, interchange and coaches boxes, an administration building, ground lighting, a Hall of Fame walk, canteen, goal netting, scoreboards and disabled access. The Tigers Licensed Club provides ongoing financial support to the football club's operations.

Community and Programs

The Queanbeyan Tigers have a well-established junior program, with the Junior Tigers providing over 80 per cent of players to the senior grades. Former local juniors made up 10 of the players in the 2012 NEAFL Eastern Conference premiership side. The club also coordinates development pathways for players from the Sapphire Coast Australian Football League - a region stretching from Bermagui in the north to the Victorian border in the south - and has a formalised development relationship with the Cooma Cats Australian Football Club.

Queanbeyan

Queanbeyan is a city in New South Wales, located immediately east of Canberra on the ACT border. The town was proclaimed in 1838, making it one of the oldest settlements in the region, and was granted city status in 1972. The city is part of the broader Canberra-Queanbeyan metropolitan area and serves as the commercial hub for the surrounding Eden-Monaro region. Queanbeyan has a strong community sporting culture, and the Tigers football club has been central to that identity for a century.

The Tigers compete in AFL Canberra and call Aulich Park home. More information is available at tigersclub.com.au, and the club can be followed on Facebook and Instagram.

    🔧 Preparation & Run-Through Setup - Expert instructions for break-through milestone banners.

    • Rigging Your Banner

      • Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.

      • This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.

    • Creating the Break-Through Slits

      • Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

      • Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.

    💡 Tips & Tricks

    • Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.

    • Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.

  • Return and Refund Policy
