Simple to Order
Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner options. Provide the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Lachlan Perry, #4, 100 Games. Redcliffe Dolphins banners are printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper, ready to hold up in the sweltering Queensland afternoon heat.
Two Players, One Banner
When two Dolphins players hit the same milestone at the same game, our Two Player banner celebrates them both on one quality keepsake. Provide each player's name, guernsey number, and the shared milestone and we'll create something they'll both be proud of.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Our Team Banner option fits 3 to 6 players and is the perfect way to recognise a group milestone or a season worth remembering. A top-line message like "Redcliffe Dolphins - Premiers" sets the tone for a celebration the whole club will love. Go the Dolphins!

About Redcliffe Dolphins
Origins and Founding
The Redcliffe Dolphins were founded on 27 February 1947 as the Redcliffe District Rugby League Football Club Inc., originally known by the informal nickname "Shellgrit." In their first year, the club entered Under 17, Reserve Grade, and First Grade teams into the Sandgate Suburban Rugby League competition. Through the 1950s, Redcliffe also competed in the Kilcoy, Murrumba, and Geraghty Cup competitions. On 19 November 1959, the club received full district status and was accepted into the Brisbane Rugby League (BRL) first grade competition, establishing the foundation for decades of Queensland rugby league prominence.
Club History
Redcliffe won their first BRL Premiership in 1965, with a generation of players who went on to represent Queensland and Australia, including Arthur Beetson and Trevor Harken. The club added a further BRL title in 1994. When the Queensland Cup launched in 1996, the Dolphins were among its inaugural participants, finishing runners-up that year and winning the competition outright in 1997. They went on to claim Queensland Cup titles in 2000, 2002, 2003, 2006, and 2018, making them one of the most decorated clubs in the competition's history. The 2006 grand final was won at Suncorp Stadium under coach Anthony Griffin. In 2023, a separately licensed professional team - known simply as the Dolphins - joined the National Rugby League as the competition's 17th franchise, while the semi-professional Redcliffe Dolphins squad continues to play in the Queensland Cup. Notable alumni who progressed to NRL level include Petero Civoniceva, Brent Tate, Dane Gagai, Reece Walsh, and Kotoni Staggs.
Home Ground
The Dolphins play at Kayo Stadium in Redcliffe, originally opened in 1979 as Dolphin Oval and later renamed Moreton Daily Stadium before taking its current name. The stadium underwent significant development with Stage 1 - the Des Webb Stand - completed in 2016, and Stage 2 construction of the eastern side commencing in 2017. After multiple upgrades between 2016 and 2020, the venue has an approximate capacity of 11,500 including 10,000 seats. The ground adjoins the Redcliffe Leagues Club, which serves as the administrative hub for both the Dolphins and the NRL-licensed team.
Community and Programs
The Redcliffe Dolphins are deeply embedded in community life on the Redcliffe Peninsula, supporting junior development pathways through the Brisbane Rugby League system. The club works in partnership with local schools and the broader Moreton Bay community. Junior competition on the Peninsula feeds into the Dolphins' reserve and development squads, providing a structured pathway from grassroots to the Queensland Cup. The club's community engagement includes support for the annual Redcliffe Festival, which celebrates the region's history as Queensland's first European settlement.
Redcliffe
Redcliffe is a coastal town and suburb in the City of Moreton Bay, Queensland, situated approximately 28 kilometres north-north-east of the Brisbane CBD on the Redcliffe Peninsula. The suburb had a population of 10,460 in the 2021 census. Redcliffe holds the distinction of being the site of Queensland's first European settlement, established on 13 September 1824. Before European arrival, the peninsula was home to the Ningy Ningy people. Redcliffe has been a popular seaside destination since the 1880s and is known for Suttons Beach, Redcliffe Jetty, and its connection to the Bee Gees, who gave their first public performance at the Redcliffe Speedway in 1959.
The Dolphins compete in the Hostplus Cup (Queensland Cup) and call Kayo Stadium, Redcliffe home. Visit the club website for more information and follow them on Facebook for news and match day updates.

-
Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
