Redcliffe Dolphins Junior Banners - Celebrating Every Junior Dolphins Milestone

Whether it's a young player's first 10 games or a bigger junior milestone, FootyBanners.com creates custom banners that give every Redcliffe Dolphins junior the recognition they deserve. Each banner is made especially for the young Dolphins, making every celebration a memory that lasts.

Simple to Order

Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner options. Just provide the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Tyler Nguyen, #10, 50 Games. Junior Dolphins banners are printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper, built for the sweltering Queensland afternoons at Dolphin Oval.

Two Players, One Banner

When two junior Dolphins players reach the same milestone in the same game, our Two Player banner lets you honour them both together. Supply each player's details and the shared milestone for a quality keepsake both young players will treasure.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

Our Team Banner option is ideal for junior group milestones and end-of-season presentations, catering for 3 to 6 players. A top-line message like "Redcliffe Dolphins Juniors - Premiers" is a great way to top off a successful season. Go the junior Dolphins!

Wall Keepsake Banners

Available in Small, Medium, and Large, Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks. Hang a junior Dolphins banner in the clubrooms or at home as a lasting reminder of a proud milestone moment.

About Redcliffe Dolphins Juniors

Origins and Founding

The Redcliffe Dolphins Junior Rugby League program is the youth development arm of the Redcliffe District Rugby League Football Club Inc., founded on 27 February 1947. Junior rugby league on the Redcliffe Peninsula has been played continuously since the club's earliest years, with the original Under 17 competition forming part of the club's founding lineup in 1947. Junior competition provides a grassroots pathway for young players across the Redcliffe Peninsula, feeding talent into the semi-professional Redcliffe Dolphins squad that plays in the Queensland Cup.

Club History

The Redcliffe junior program has consistently developed players who progressed to state and national representative level. Among the alumni who came through Redcliffe ranks are Arthur Beetson, who represented Queensland and Australia in the 1960s and 1970s, along with later NRL stars Petero Civoniceva, Brent Tate, Dane Gagai, Reece Walsh, and Kotoni Staggs. The junior clubs on the Peninsula play within the Brisbane Rugby League junior competition structure, administered by the Queensland Rugby League. Juniors compete in age groups from Under 6 through to Under 18, with the senior Dolphins providing a direct pathway into the Queensland Cup competition that the Redcliffe first grade side has won multiple times, including titles in 1997, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2006, and 2018.

Home Ground

Redcliffe junior teams train and play across grounds on the Redcliffe Peninsula, with senior matches at Kayo Stadium - the Dolphins' home ground, opened in 1979 and upgraded significantly between 2016 and 2020 to a capacity of 11,500. The stadium adjoins the Redcliffe Leagues Club and serves as the administrative headquarters for all Dolphins programs including juniors.

Community and Programs

Junior rugby league is the heartbeat of the Redcliffe Peninsula sporting community. The Redcliffe Dolphins Junior program works closely with local primary and secondary schools, including Redcliffe State High School and a range of Peninsula schools, to recruit and develop young talent. The club participates in the Queensland Dolphins Foundation community programs alongside the NRL-licensed Dolphins team. Inclusion programs and school visits bring the professional Dolphins players into direct contact with junior participants, creating pathways and mentoring opportunities across the Peninsula's diverse communities.

Redcliffe

Redcliffe is a coastal suburb and town in the City of Moreton Bay, approximately 28 kilometres north-north-east of the Brisbane CBD. The 2021 census recorded a suburb population of 10,460. The Redcliffe Peninsula has been a popular seaside destination since the 1880s and holds the distinction of being the site of Queensland's first European settlement, established on 13 September 1824. The peninsula is well served by the Moreton Bay Rail Link (opened 2016) connecting Kippa-Ring to the broader Brisbane rail network.

The Dolphins Juniors compete in the Brisbane Rugby League junior competition and call the Redcliffe Peninsula home. Visit the club website for junior registration details and follow them on Facebook for news and updates.

    📄 Material & Construction

    • Premium Coated Paper (1.6 m high) printed with permanent, waterproof inks—won’t run or fade, even in wet weather.

    • Eco-friendly & Recyclable: All banners are fully recyclable when the celebration is over.

    • Durable weatherproof sports banners printed on heavy-duty coated paper - these banners are not made of crepe paper.

    🔧 Preparation & Run-Through Setup - Expert instructions for break-through milestone banners.

    • Rigging Your Banner

      • Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.

      • This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.

    • Creating the Break-Through Slits

      • Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

      • Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.

    💡 Tips & Tricks

    • Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.

    • Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
