Two Players, One Banner

Two Tigers hitting the same milestone on the same game day? Our Two Player Banner celebrates both together on a single quality keepsake. Send us both names and guernsey numbers and we'll deliver something special.

About Roleystone Junior Football Club

Origins and Founding

The Roleystone Junior Football Club (RJFC) was established in 1972 by a small group of parents in the community, making it one of the longer-running junior clubs in Perth's south-eastern corridor. The club quickly became known as the Mighty Tigers, a nickname that has defined the organisation ever since. Over more than five decades, the RJFC has grown from a handful of local children to a club of over 400 members, fielding teams across every age group from Pre-primary through Year 12 in both male and female divisions. The RJFC is affiliated with the Roleystone Tigers identity that also encompasses the senior Perth Football League club, which competes at Cross Park, Roleystone.

Club History

The RJFC has competed in the South East Metro District competition throughout its existence, providing the development pathway for footballers from the Roleystone and Karragullen communities. The junior club plays its home games at Springdale Park on Springdale Road, Roleystone. The senior Roleystone Tigers have a separate history with the Perth Football League, having joined from the West Australian Football Association in 2009, and claiming a Perth Football League premiership in 2021. The senior club also plays under the Tigers banner at Cross Park. Both the junior and senior arms of the Roleystone Tigers operate as distinct clubs within a shared community identity.

Home Ground

Springdale Park on Springdale Road, Roleystone, serves as the home ground for the RJFC. The ground is a dog-free, smoke-free, and glass-free oval, reflecting the club's commitment to a safe environment for young players and families. The oval hosts the full range of the club's junior programs, from Auskick to youth football, each season from early autumn through to the September finals.

Community and Programs

The Roleystone Junior Football Club fields All-Girls teams and fields sides in every year group, providing inclusive pathways for all children in the area regardless of experience level. The club runs Auskick programs for the youngest players and has built a reputation for its welcoming, family-focused atmosphere. With over 400 registered members, the RJFC plays an important social role in bringing together the Roleystone and Karragullen communities around a shared love of Australian rules football.

Roleystone

Roleystone is a suburb of Perth in the City of Armadale, located approximately 30 kilometres south-east of the Perth CBD and 8 kilometres north-east of Armadale. With a population of 6,848 recorded at the 2021 census, Roleystone is a semi-rural residential suburb set among the Darling Range foothills. The suburb is notable for the Araluen Botanic Park, a major tourist attraction featuring spectacular displays of tulips and other flowers each autumn. The area's bushland setting and distance from the metropolitan core give Roleystone a distinct character compared to Perth's inner suburbs.

The Mighty Tigers compete in the South East Metro District competition and call Springdale Park, Roleystone home. For more information, visit roleystonetigersjfc.com, or connect on Facebook and Instagram.

    📄 Material & Construction

    • Premium Coated Paper (1.6 m high) printed with permanent, waterproof inks—won’t run or fade, even in wet weather.

    • Eco-friendly & Recyclable: All banners are fully recyclable when the celebration is over.

    • Durable weatherproof sports banners printed on heavy-duty coated paper - these banners are not made of crepe paper.

    🔧 Preparation & Run-Through Setup - Expert instructions for break-through milestone banners.

    • Rigging Your Banner

      • Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.

      • This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.

    • Creating the Break-Through Slits

      • Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

      • Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.

    💡 Tips & Tricks

    • Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.

    • Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
