Simple to Order
Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banners. Just provide the player's name, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Tom Jones, #7, 50 Games. Printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper, your banner will hold up beautifully whether it's a chilly Melbourne winter morning or a perfect autumn day at Liberty Reserve.
Two Players, One Banner
Got two Knights hitting the same milestone? A Two Player Banner is a fantastic way to honour them both together. Simply provide both names and guernsey numbers alongside the shared milestone for a quality keepsake banner.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Feature 3 to 6 players on one Team Banner and make game day unforgettable. Try a top-line message like "Go Knights!" to rally the troops and send your team out fired up. A brilliant way to celebrate the group effort.
Wall Keepsake Banners
Available in Small, Medium, and Large, our Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks built to last. Whether it's on the clubroom wall, in the garage, or the games room at home, a Knights keepsake banner is a proud memento of the season.

About Rowville Knights Community Football Club
Origins and Founding
Rowville Knights Community Football Club was born out of a parents' meeting held on 16 November 1993 at St Simon's Catholic Primary School in Rowville. The group came together to establish a new junior football club as an alternative to existing local options. The club was initially named St Simon's Community Football Club (SSCFC) and was accepted into the Knox Junior Football Association (KJFA) at an AGM on 14 December 1993, allowing the club to play its inaugural season in 1994. That first season featured two teams - Under 10s and Under 12s - with 50 players, playing out of makeshift facilities including the Rowville Community Centre Tennis Pavilion and using Rowville Primary School's toilets 200 metres away.
Club History
Growth was rapid. By 2002, St Simon's CFC was registering 16 teams totalling approximately 320 players, making it the largest junior club in the Eastern Football League at the time. In 2001 the club won the Gordon Parker Best Conducted Junior Club award, presented to the club with the best conduct on and off the field across the entire season. In 2016 the club held a vote to change its name to Rowville Knights Community Football Club, the name it carries today. That same year the Knights entered their first all-girls team into competition, a program that had grown to three girls' teams by 2022, with a fourth planned. A dedicated girls' changing room was opened in 2021. The club competes in the Eastern Football Netball League (EFNL), described as one of Victoria's strongest competitions.
Home Ground
The Knights play at Liberty Avenue Reserve, Rowville VIC 3178. The Liberty Reserve Pavilion was completed in 2003 and became the club's primary oval, replacing earlier arrangements at Stud Park Ground, where a pavilion had been built in 1997 following council approval in 1996. Training lights were installed early in the club's history through the State Government's Start Program. Liberty Avenue Reserve serves as the hub for the club's Auskick, junior, and girls' programs throughout the football season.
Community and Programs
The Rowville Knights run a comprehensive community program covering Auskick, junior boys' and girls' teams across multiple age groups. The club has placed a strong emphasis on growing female participation in Australian Rules Football, entering girls' competition from 2016 and establishing dedicated facilities to support that growth. The Knights pride themselves on being inclusive and family-oriented, reflecting the grassroots spirit of the community in which they were founded. Multiple age groups are fielded annually, with the club continuing to attract new families from across the Rowville and Knox area.
Rowville
Rowville is a south-eastern suburb of Melbourne, located approximately 28 kilometres from the CBD within the City of Knox. With a population of around 44,000 people, it is one of Knox's largest residential areas and is known for its family-friendly character, abundance of parks and sporting reserves, and access to the Dandenong Ranges. Rowville is served by Stud Park Shopping Centre and EastLink freeway, connecting residents to the wider metropolitan area, and its many schools and community facilities make it a popular destination for growing families.
The Knights compete in the Eastern Football Netball League and call Liberty Avenue Reserve, Rowville home. Visit the club at rowvilleknights.org.au, follow them on Facebook, or on Instagram.

Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
