Seaton Ramblers Banners - Western Adelaide's Favourite Footy Club

When the Seaton Ramblers take the field on a cool Adelaide afternoon, a custom-designed FootyBanners.com run-through banner brings out the best of the occasion. From the burst of the paper to the roar of the crowd, a great banner turns every home game into a moment worth celebrating.

Simple to Order

Ordering a Seaton Ramblers banner is easy. Upload a player photo, add the message you want, and our design team creates the artwork. You will receive a proof to approve before anything is printed, so the final product is exactly right for game day.

Two Players, One Banner

Two Ramblers together on one banner is a classic. Whether it is co-captains, a pair of standout performers, or two players who have made the Seaton faithful proud all season, the two-player banner is a great way to recognise what they have achieved.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

Celebrate the whole squad with a team banner for end-of-season nights, milestone rounds, or special club occasions. Every Rambler gets their place in the photo, and the group shot makes for a keepsake the whole club will value for years.

Wall Keepsake Banners

A wall keepsake banner is a permanent tribute to a standout season or a significant moment in the Seaton Ramblers' history. Display it in the clubrooms, gift it to a long-serving member, or hang it at home as a reminder of football at its best.

Grand Final Banners

When the Seaton Ramblers reach the grand final, the moment calls for a banner that rises to the occasion. Our grand final banners are made for the biggest day of the season and ensure every player knows they are running out for something truly special.

About Seaton Ramblers Football Club

Origins and Founding

The Seaton Ramblers Football Club was founded in 1958 by a group of local men including L Bugg, B Dempster, H Brandison, B Warman, and Gil Enghalhardt - everyday blokes who decided to start a football club in the heart of western Adelaide. The club's first home was a vacant plot in Seaton that the founders cleared themselves: soil was spread over a sand-based patch of semi-grassed land, wooden goal posts were erected, and Pedler Reserve was born. An old tin shed served as the first change room and clubroom, and the club entered its first season in 1958 as part of the West Torrens Football League, with G Scott as inaugural chairman and Lindsay Bugg as first coach. The club's motto, "Believe and Achieve", has guided the Rams ever since.

Club History

In 1961 the Seaton Ramblers joined the South Australian Amateur Football League (SAAFL), placed in Division 3, and won the premiership in their very first SAAFL season. The club steadily moved up through the grades and claimed its Division 1 premiership in 1973, defeating Payneham FC. Further A-Grade flags followed in 1981 and 1991, the latter defeating Kenilworth FC. In 1968 the original tin shed was replaced by a brick clubroom, officially opened on 26 August 1968, which gave the club a permanent social and administrative base that attracted new players through the 1970s. The Ramblers now compete in the Adelaide Footy League (AFL SA) and have maintained a presence across multiple senior grades throughout their history. The club has a proud tradition of loyal long-serving members - notably John Tremaine and Alan Coard, who between them played over 900 games for the SRFC.

Home Ground

The Seaton Ramblers play at Pedler Reserve on Pedlar Street in Seaton, SA 5023 - the same patch of ground the club's founders cleared in 1958. The ground has undergone significant improvements since those early days, with upgraded facilities serving the club's senior, junior, and social programs. Seaton's western suburbs location makes Pedler Reserve a convenient hub for players and supporters from across the surrounding area.

Community and Programs

The Seaton Ramblers run junior programs from Under 7s through to Under 17.5s, competing in the South Australian National Football League's junior competitions and giving young players in the area a clear pathway from grassroots to senior football. The club places high value on its social culture and volunteer base, which has sustained the SRFC across more than six decades of operation. The annual $50 draw - launched under president Atillio "Big Al" Cavuoto in 1987 - remains a storied part of club tradition.

Seaton

Seaton is a western suburb of Adelaide, situated approximately 10 kilometres from the Adelaide CBD. Bordered by Henley Beach to the west and Lockleys to the south, Seaton sits within the City of Charles Sturt and is a well-established residential suburb with a mix of long-term families and newer arrivals. The suburb is served by the Outer Harbor and Grange train lines, giving residents good connections to the city centre.

The Rams compete in the Adelaide Footy League and call Pedler Reserve, Pedlar Street, Seaton their home. Visit the Seaton Ramblers website for news and membership information, and follow the Rams on Facebook for match-day updates and club news.

  • Footy Banner Information

All Footy Banners are printed on 1.6 Metre high coated paper using solvent inks which will not run, even if they get wet.

We recommend taping broomsticks to the ends of the banner to hold it flat whilst the player runs through it.  if you cut vertical slits in the banner in the centre, it creates a weak spot where it will break and look best when run through.

On a windy day, cut smaller vertical slits in the Footy Banner so if the wind catches it, it doesn't rip too soon!

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
