Stirling Saints Banners - Marking Every Milestone for the Saints

Every milestone deserves a banner, and the Stirling Saints deserve the best. FootyBanners.com creates fully customised banners for every Saints occasion - from junior debut games to senior century celebrations. Trust us to produce something the whole club will be proud of.

Simple to Order

Ordering your Stirling Saints banner is straightforward. Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner styles. For player banners, just provide the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Tom Harris, #14, 100 Games. All banners are printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper, tough enough to handle a scorching Perth afternoon under the open sky.

Two Players, One Banner

Two Stirling Saints players sharing the same milestone? Our Two Player Banner is the perfect way to mark the occasion together. Provide both players' names and guernsey numbers - they must be celebrating the same milestone game - and we'll deliver a quality banner that does both players proud.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

Our Team Banner covers 3 to 6 players in one great banner - ideal for end-of-season nights and milestone rounds. Include a message like "Stirling Saints - 2024 Club Champions" as the top-line text to give the banner a real sense of occasion. A fantastic way to celebrate what the Saints have achieved as a group.

Wall Keepsake Banners

Available in Small, Medium, and Large, our Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks. Whether they end up in the Saints clubrooms or hanging at home, these banners are built to last and serve as a reminder of what was achieved for the club.

Grand Final Banners

Available in 4.5m and 5.5m sizes, our Grand Final Banners are fully customisable for the Stirling Saints' biggest occasion. Contact us for design advice and we'll help make sure the banner looks brilliant when the team charges through it.

About Stirling Saints Football Club

Origins and Founding

The Stirling Saints Football Club traces its origins back to 1922 with the founding of the Osborne Park Football Club, which competed in the Perth Suburban Football Association (PSFA) and later the South Norwood Football League (SNFL) and the Western Australian Amateur Football League (WAAFL). Over the following decades Osborne Park became one of the stronger community clubs in Perth's northern suburbs, winning premierships in 1922, 1954, 1965, 1966, 1967, and multiple flags through the 1970s and 1980s. The club went through a series of mergers and name changes - becoming the AICA/Balcatta Amateur Football Club - before being re-established under its current identity as the Stirling Saints in 1998. Despite the modern entity dating from 1998, the club formally recognises its full lineage back to 1922 and celebrated its centenary in 2022 with a Team of the Century selection.

Club History

Since re-forming as the Stirling Saints in 1998, the club has competed in the Perth Football League (PFL) - formerly the Western Australian Amateur Football League (WAAFL). The club has built a record of 4 premierships across its combined history as the Stirling Saints, with their most recent premiership arriving in 2025 when the Saints won the PFL flag - a milestone achievement that marked the club's return to the top of the competition. The Saints have competed across the C and E divisions of the PFL North zone, fielding senior and reserve sides in a highly competitive amateur competition. The club's website hosts a comprehensive database of over 3,300 players and their game tallies, reflecting the deep community roots that have been built across the club's hundred-plus year lineage.

Home Ground

The Stirling Saints play their home games at Richard Guelfi Reserve in Balcatta, in Perth's northern suburbs. The reserve provides the club with a base for both match days and training, situated within the City of Stirling local government area that gives the club its name. Richard Guelfi Reserve is a well-established community sporting facility serving multiple clubs and sports in the Balcatta area.

Community and Programs

The Stirling Saints are a community-focused club that fields senior and reserve teams in the Perth Football League. The club maintains an active past players program, with regular Past Players Days that bring former members together and honour premiership anniversary milestones. The club's history section on its website - covering Osborne Park, Balcatta, and Stirling eras - represents one of the most thorough records of any Perth amateur football club, documenting premiership teams, game-by-game results, and win-loss records across more than a century of football. The club has also produced players who have gone on to WAFL and AFL level, details of which are tracked on their AFL-WAFL Players page.

Balcatta

Balcatta is a northern suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located approximately 10 kilometres north of the Perth CBD. It sits within the City of Stirling local government area - one of Perth's most populous councils - and is a well-established residential suburb known for its mix of homes, light industrial areas, and community sports facilities. The broader City of Stirling area has a population of over 220,000 people, making it one of the largest local government areas in metropolitan Perth. Balcatta's location on the northern corridor of the city, near major arterial roads including the Mitchell Freeway, makes it accessible to players and supporters from across Perth's northern suburbs.

The Saints compete in the Perth Football League and call Richard Guelfi Reserve, Balcatta home. Visit the club website for more information and follow them on Facebook for news and match day updates.

    📄 Material & Construction

    • Premium Coated Paper (1.6 m high) printed with permanent, waterproof inks—won’t run or fade, even in wet weather.

    • Eco-friendly & Recyclable: All banners are fully recyclable when the celebration is over.

    • Durable weatherproof sports banners printed on heavy-duty coated paper - these banners are not made of crepe paper.

    🔧 Preparation & Run-Through Setup - Expert instructions for break-through milestone banners.

    • Rigging Your Banner

      • Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.

      • This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.

    • Creating the Break-Through Slits

      • Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

      • Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.

    💡 Tips & Tricks

    • Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.

    • Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
