Toukley Hawks Banners - Celebrating the Pride of the Central Coast
When a Hawk reaches a milestone worth shouting about, FootyBanners.com is here to help make the moment unforgettable. We create fully custom banners for the Toukley Hawks that honour your players and your club in style.
Simple to Order
Our Single Player banners are tailored for individual game milestones. Provide the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Dean Taylor, #11, 150 Games - and we'll handle everything else. Printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper, your banner will stand strong through even the most blustery NSW Central Coast afternoon at Darren Kennedy Oval.
Two Players, One Banner
Got two Hawks reaching the same milestone on the same day? Our Two Player banners are designed for exactly that. Supply both players' names, guernsey numbers, and the shared milestone, and we'll create a standout banner that celebrates them both in one quality piece.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Our Team Banner option is perfect for squads hitting a milestone together - covering 3 to 6 players in a single design. Use a top-line message like "Hawks - 100 Games Club" and wrap it up with a closing tagline that captures the spirit of the team.
Wall Keepsake Banners
Available in Small, Medium, and Large, our Wall Keepsake Banners are made from thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks - built for the long haul. Display them in the clubrooms, the garage, or the games room and let the Hawks' proudest moments live on for years to come.
Grand Final Banners
The Toukley Hawks Rugby League Football Club knows how to show up for a grand final, and your banner should too. We produce Grand Final banners in 4.5m and 5.5m sizes, fully customised with your chosen top and bottom text. Reach out to our team for personalised design advice ahead of the big day.
About Toukley Hawks Football Club
Origins and Founding
The Toukley Hawks Rugby League Football Club was founded in 1967 as a junior rugby league club, serving the eastern side of the Central Coast lakes system. The club entered the second division senior competition in 1976, reaching the semi-finals in their very first season of senior football. Senior operations expanded to the First Division in 1979, and the club unified its junior and senior structures in 2009. Over more than 55 years, the Hawks have grown from a small junior club into one of the most established rugby league organisations on the NSW Central Coast, as detailed on the club's Wikipedia page.
Club History
Toukley's senior history is one of persistence and hard-fought success. The Hawks won the Second Division (Saturday League) title five times - in 1977, 1998, 1999, 2000, and 2003 - including three consecutive premierships from 1998 to 2000. The club reached the First Grade Grand Final for the first time in 2022, defeating the Erina Eagles 20-10 to claim their maiden first-grade title, as reported by the NSWRL. The Hawks backed it up with a second consecutive First Grade premiership in 2023, and were runners-up in both 2024 and 2025. The club has also produced significant NRL talent: Jack Cogger played for the Newcastle Knights, Adam Keighran represented the New Zealand Warriors and later Wigan Warriors in the English Super League, and brothers Daniel Saifiti and Jacob Saifiti both forged careers with the Newcastle Knights, as recorded on the Rugby League Central Coast Honour Roll.
Home Ground
The Hawks play their home matches at Darren Kennedy Oval, located in Toukley. The ground hosts both junior and senior rugby league competition throughout the season and is a well-known venue in Central Coast rugby league circles. At the 2022 First Grade Grand Final, the club had been unable to use their home ground for the entire season due to ground conditions, making the premiership win even more significant for the club and its supporters.
Community and Programs
The Toukley Hawks field teams across all age groups from Under 7s through to First Grade, making the club one of the Central Coast's most comprehensive junior development pathways in rugby league. The club runs Open Age, Reserve Grade, and Under 19 competitions alongside its extensive junior program. The Hawks also field a Ladies League Tag team, providing opportunities for women and girls to participate in rugby league. With 23 junior teams recorded in 2017 - the most in the club's history at that time - the Hawks have established themselves as one of the region's most active junior clubs. The club is driven by a dedicated volunteer base of coaches, managers, and committee members.
Toukley
Toukley is a lakeside town on the Central Coast of New South Wales, located approximately 109 kilometres north of Sydney and 54 kilometres south of Newcastle, within the Central Coast Council local government area. With a 2021 Census population of 4,557, Toukley sits between Tuggerah Lake, Budgewoi Lake, and the Pacific Ocean, giving the town a distinctive waterfront character. The Toukley Bridge, rebuilt between 1983 and 1985, connects the suburb to Gorokan on the western side of the lakes system. The area is popular with tourists and is known for its lakeside lifestyle, fishing, and water sports.
The Hawks compete in the Central Coast Division of Country Rugby League and call Darren Kennedy Oval in Toukley home. Follow the Hawks on Facebook and follow them on Instagram for the latest club news and match-day content.

-
Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
