Werribee Districts Banners - Proud of Every Milestone at Soldiers Reserve

Mark the great achievements of your Werribee Districts player with a custom footy banner from FootyBanners.com. From junior milestones to senior century games, a personalised banner is the perfect way to honour your Bulldogs legend.

Simple to Order

Select from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner styles. Player banners require the name, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Liam Carter, #7, 50 Games. Banners are produced with permanent weatherproof inks on heavy-duty paper, ready to hold up through a blustery Melbourne winter match day.

Two Players, One Banner

If two Werribee Districts players are sharing the same milestone, our Two Player banner celebrates both in one run-through. Provide both names and guernsey numbers - both must be reaching the same game milestone. A memorable keepsake for two proud Bulldogs.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

Feature 3-6 players on a Team Banner to celebrate a grand final run or a standout season. Customise the top message - try something like "Werribee Districts - We're On Our Way!" - and create a moment your whole club will remember. Go the Bulldogs!

Wall Keepsake Banners

Our Wall Keepsake Banners come in Small, Medium, and Large, printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks. Hang them in the Soldiers Reserve clubrooms, a garage, or the games room as a lasting reminder of your Werribee Districts pride.

Grand Final Banners

Available in 4.5m and 5.5m sizes, our Grand Final banners feature fully customised top and bottom text to make your Werribee Districts Grand Final banner truly unique. Get in touch for design advice tailored to your club.

About Werribee Districts Football Club

Origins and Founding

The Werribee Districts Football Club traces its origins to 1951, when it was established as the Werribee Junior Football Club to provide junior Australian rules football opportunities for young players in Werribee, Victoria. For more than four decades the organisation focused exclusively on junior development, building a strong foundation within the local community. In 1995 the club took a major step forward by establishing a senior side, allowing players who had come through the junior ranks to continue their football careers at a higher level. In 2014 the club rebranded to its current name, the Werribee Districts Football Club, better reflecting its expanded presence across the wider Werribee region.

Club History

Since entering senior football in 1995, the Werribee Districts Football Club has competed in the Western Region Football League (WRFL). The club steadily built its senior program over successive years, developing a reputation as a well-organised community club. 2023 proved to be a landmark year for the club when both the senior and reserves teams claimed their respective grand finals in the same season, a remarkable double that represented the club's most successful season in its history to that point. The Tigers compete in the Western Region Football League, one of Melbourne's largest and most competitive suburban competitions.

Home Ground

Werribee Districts calls Soldiers Reserve their home ground, a venue located in Werribee that has served as the club's base for senior and junior football. Soldiers Reserve is a well-established community sporting ground that also hosts other sports and community activities throughout the year. The venue provides the club with a central facility for training, home games, and club events, and sits within Werribee's established residential community that has grown substantially since the club's founding in 1951.

Community and Programs

The Werribee Districts Football Club maintains a strong junior program that has been the backbone of the organisation since its earliest days as the Werribee Junior Football Club. Junior teams compete in age groups from Under 8s through to Under 18s, providing a clear pathway into the senior ranks. The club's emphasis on developing local talent while building a welcoming and family-friendly environment has been central to its identity throughout its more than seven decades of operation. Women's football has also become an important part of the club's offering as the sport has grown across the Western Region Football League.

Werribee

Werribee is a major satellite city in Melbourne's outer western metropolitan corridor, situated approximately 32 kilometres south-west of the Melbourne CBD. The area sits within the City of Wyndham, which is one of Australia's fastest-growing local government areas, with the broader Wyndham region's population expected to reach over 600,000 people in coming decades. Werribee has a rich history as an agricultural and market garden area and is home to attractions including Werribee Open Range Zoo, the Werribee Mansion, and the Werribee River parklands. The city's rapid population growth has expanded the community base from which the Werribee Districts Football Club draws its players and supporters.

  • Footy Banner Information

Material:  All Footy Banners are printed on 1.6 Metre high coated paper using permanent inks which will not run, even if they get wet.  They are fully recyclable.

How to Use:  We recommend taping broomsticks or plastic pipe to the ends of the banner to hold it flat whilst the player runs through it.  If you cut vertical slits in the banner in the centre, it creates a weak spot where it will break and look best when run through.  There are instructions and images for how to cut these in the FAQ section below.

On a windy day, cut smaller vertical slits in the Footy Banner so if the wind catches it, it doesn't rip too soon!  This is why we do not pre-cut them, and also so you can get photographs with your intact banner when it looks at it's best.

Tip: Some players choose to only cut one weak spot in their banner so it can be saved and displayed later by taping it back together on the back.

Pro Tip:  Cut the weak spot to one side of the mascot or team logo so it stays intact as well!

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
