Simple to Order

Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team or Grand Final banner styles. Provide the player's full name, guernsey number and milestone - for example, Jake Morrison, #23, 200 Games. Banners are produced with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper, built to handle even a blustery Port Phillip afternoon at DSV Stadium.

Two Players, One Banner

When two Seagulls are reaching the same milestone, our Two Player banner celebrates both together. Just provide both names and guernsey numbers and we'll produce a quality banner worthy of the occasion.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

Our Team Banner option accommodates 3 to 6 players on a single banner. Add a top-line message like "Go Seagulls!" and send the whole squad through together on a day they will never forget.

Wall Keepsake Banners

Available in Small, Medium and Large, our Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks. Perfect for the clubrooms, the garage or the games room - the ideal way to honour Seagulls history on your walls.

Grand Final Banners

Our 4.5m and 5.5m Grand Final banners are fully customised with your top and bottom messaging. If the Williamstown Football Club is heading deep into finals, contact us now and we will design a banner worthy of the occasion.

About Williamstown Football Club

Origins and Founding

The Williamstown Football Club, nicknamed the Seagulls (or "Towners"), is one of Australia's oldest football clubs, founded in 1864 - the same year as the Melbourne Football Club, which is widely regarded as the world's oldest. The club initially played in the Victorian Football Association (VFA) from 1884 and originally wore black and yellow colours before adopting its iconic blue and gold. An early dispute with the Williamstown Cricket Club over ground access led to matches being played at the unfenced Gardens Reserve, and in 1886 a breakaway group established the rival South Williamstown Football Club at the cricket ground.

Club History

Williamstown is the most decorated club in Victorian Football Association/VFL Division 1 history, having claimed 14 VFA/VFL premierships in 1907, 1921, 1939, 1945, 1949, 1954, 1955, 1956, 1958, 1959, 1986, 1990, 2003 and 2015, as well as two VFA Division 2 premierships (1969 and 1976). The club's most prolific goalkicker is Ron Todd, who kicked an extraordinary 672 goals for the club. In 2001 Williamstown entered into an affiliation with the AFL's Collingwood Football Club, allowing Collingwood reserves players to play for the Towners. The club survived a challenging period in the mid-1990s, including a threat of forced merger with Werribee in 1995. In 2025 the Seagulls finished 8th in the VFL after finals and 5th in the VFLW competition. The club's ground is DSV Stadium in Williamstown, with a capacity of 7,500.

Home Ground

The Williamstown Seagulls play their home games at DSV Stadium, Williamstown. The 7,500-capacity ground sits within the Fearon Reserve precinct in Williamstown's heritage-listed foreshore precinct, and has hosted Williamstown football since the early decades of the club. DSV Stadium is shared with the Williamstown Juniors Football Club, which also trains and plays at Fearon Reserve.

Community and Programs

The Williamstown Football Club fields VFL men's and VFLW women's senior teams, as well as maintaining close links with the Williamstown Juniors Football Club as the primary pathway club. The Seagulls serve as one of Melbourne's most important community football institutions, with over 160 years of continuous history. The club is a key pathway club for AFL talent development in the western suburbs of Melbourne, and has maintained strong relationships with AFL clubs via its affiliation history.

Williamstown, Melbourne

Williamstown is an historic bayside suburb located approximately 10 kilometres south-west of Melbourne's CBD, situated on Hobsons Bay in the City of Hobsons Bay. The suburb is known for its 19th-century heritage streetscapes, the historic port precinct (Williamstown was Melbourne's original port), sandy beaches and its maritime character. The area has a population of approximately 16,000 and is home to a growing arts, cafe and restaurant culture alongside its industrial and maritime history. Australian rules football has been played in Williamstown since 1864 - over 160 years of unbroken football heritage.

The Seagulls compete in the Victorian Football League (VFL) and call DSV Stadium, Williamstown home. Visit the club website for more information and follow them on social media for news and match day updates.

    📄 Material & Construction

    • Premium Coated Paper (1.6 m high) printed with permanent, waterproof inks—won’t run or fade, even in wet weather.

    • Eco-friendly & Recyclable: All banners are fully recyclable when the celebration is over.

    • Durable weatherproof sports banners printed on heavy-duty coated paper - these banners are not made of crepe paper.

    🔧 Preparation & Run-Through Setup - Expert instructions for break-through milestone banners.

    • Rigging Your Banner

      • Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.

      • This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.

    • Creating the Break-Through Slits

      • Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

      • Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.

    💡 Tips & Tricks

    • Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.

    • Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
