📝 How to Order Your Personalised Windsor Wolves Footy Banner

Ordering your Windsor Wolves milestone football banner is easy. First, choose your size and type-Small, Medium, Large, Team, or Grand Final. Enter the player’s first name, last name, and guernsey number (for example, Michael Smith, #23), and specify the milestone games being celebrated, like a 150-Game milestone.

Our heavy-duty paper and permanent inks ensure your custom footy banner will look sharp and stay strong in rain, wind, or sunshine.

If you’re ordering a two-player football banner, both players must share the same milestone. Enter both names and guernsey numbers, and we’ll print an affordable, high-quality two-player milestone banner for the Windsor Wolves Football Club.

For Team banners showcasing three to six players, select the Team Banner option. List up to six player names. We’ll optimise the layout for a premium group AFL footy banner that highlights all your milestone achievers.

If you’d like a custom team banner with a slogan, simply add your top text (such as "Great Team Effort This Year!") and a bottom tagline. We'll design a team footy banner that captures the true spirit of the Windsor Wolves Football Club.

We also offer wall keepsake banners, available in Small, Medium, or Large. These scaled-down versions of your AFL run-through banner are printed on thick, recyclable paper with waterproof inks-perfect for displaying at home, in the games room, shed, or the clubrooms.

Finally, for the ultimate celebration, order a Grand Final banner. Choose from a 4.5 metre or a massive 5.5 metre size, with fully custom top and bottom text. Contact us for bespoke design advice, and celebrate with a Grand Final footy banner that makes your Windsor Wolves Football Club stand out on the biggest day of the season.

About Windsor Wolves Rugby League Football Club

Origins and Founding

Windsor Wolves Rugby League Football Club was founded in 1912, making it one of the oldest rugby league clubs in regional New South Wales. Located in the town of Windsor in the Hawkesbury district, the Wolves have been a central part of the local sporting community for well over a century. The club competes in the Penrith District Rugby League competition and has also fielded sides in a number of semi-professional state-level competitions throughout its long history.

Club History

The Wolves established a strong presence in the NSW Rugby League representative competition from the mid-1970s, when Windsor competed in the Metropolitan Cup. They returned to a similar third-tier competition in 1993, and then from 2003 became founding members of the NSWRL Jim Beam Cup, a competition they would go on to win twice. In 2005, the Wolves defeated the Sydney Bulls 23-18 in the Jim Beam Cup Grand Final. They repeated the achievement in 2008, again defeating Sydney Bulls, this time by a dominant 36-16 margin at Campbelltown Stadium. In July 2007, Windsor received a significant boost when they signed a three-season partnership with the Penrith Panthers as a feeder club for their NSW Cup side. The club has continued to produce notable NRL players, including Ryan Matterson, Corey Harawira-Naera, and Liam Martin, all of whom came through the Wolves' junior pathways.

Home Ground

The Wolves play their home games in Windsor, New South Wales. The club's junior program fields a large number of teams each season, with Windsor Wolves Junior Rugby League Club growing to over 52 teams and 818 registered players as of 2025, supported by more than 250 volunteers. This scale of junior participation makes the Wolves one of the most active junior rugby league clubs in the Hawkesbury region.

Community and Programs

Windsor Wolves Junior Rugby League Club serves as the primary development pathway for players across the Hawkesbury district. The junior club caters for players from U5 through to open age, offering programs for both boys and girls. The inclusive culture of the Wolves has made them a cornerstone of the region's sporting community, and the senior club maintains a pipeline into state-level competition through the Penrith District Rugby League.

Windsor

Windsor is a historic town situated 56 kilometres north-west of Sydney's CBD and 5 kilometres east of Richmond in the City of Hawkesbury. 🔧 Preparation & Run-Through Setup - Expert instructions for break-through milestone banners.

    • Rigging Your Banner

      • Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.

      • This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.

    • Creating the Break-Through Slits

      • Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

      • Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.

    đź’ˇ Tips & Tricks

    • Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.

    • Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
