Wodonga Bulldogs Banners - Bulldogs Pride on the Border
The Wodonga Bulldogs are a proud football club serving the border community of Wodonga, and every player milestone deserves to be honoured properly. FootyBanners.com creates fully customised Bulldogs banners for families and supporters who want to celebrate the people who make the club great.
Simple to Order
Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner styles. For a player banner, provide the name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Kyle Patterson, #12, 200 Games. Each banner is printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty, weatherproof paper built to handle whatever a chilly Wodonga morning throws at it.
Two Players, One Banner
When two Bulldogs players hit the same milestone, our Two Player Banner celebrates them both on one quality banner. Provide both names, guernsey numbers, and the shared achievement, and we'll create something truly memorable.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Honour 3 to 6 players in one go with our Team Banner option. Set a meaningful top line like "Wodonga Bulldogs - Border Town Proud" and bring the whole group together. A perfect choice for end of season nights, club presentations, or any group milestone worth celebrating.
Wall Keepsake Banners
Our Wall Keepsake Banners come in Small, Medium, and Large, printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks. Perfect for the Bulldogs clubrooms, a home games room, or the garage of a dedicated club supporter - a lasting reminder of great football played for a great club.
Grand Final Banners
We produce Grand Final Banners in 4.5m and 5.5m sizes with fully customised top and bottom text. If you'd like design advice for your Wodonga Bulldogs Football Club grand final banner, get in touch and our team will be happy to help you create something special.
About Wodonga Bulldogs
Origins and Founding
The Wodonga Football Club was established in 1878, making it one of the oldest football clubs in regional Victoria. The club played its first recorded match against Albury Football Club on 6 July 1878, cementing a cross-border rivalry that has endured for nearly 150 years. Based in Wodonga, Victoria - situated on the southern bank of the Murray River directly opposite Albury in New South Wales - the club has been the cornerstone of Australian rules football on the border for generations. The Bulldogs compete in the Ovens and Murray Football Netball League (O&MFNL), the premier regional football competition of north-east Victoria and the border region.
Club History
The Wodonga Bulldogs have accumulated seven senior O&MFNL premierships across their history, including flags in 1969 and 1990. The club's most remarkable achievement came in 1981, when the Bulldogs achieved the rare feat of winning the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Grade Premierships in the same season - a triple premiership that remains one of the proudest moments in the club's history. The club's O&MFNL record and full history is accessible via the league's official website. The club competes in a strong regional competition that also includes historic clubs from Albury, Wangaratta, Yarrawonga, Myrtleford, and beyond.
Home Ground
The Bulldogs play their home games at the Wodonga Sports and Leisure Centre, formerly known as Kelly Park, in Wodonga. The ground is a well-established community venue that has hosted O&MFNL football for decades and continues to be the social hub of the club throughout the season. The ground's upgrades over the years have cemented its status as one of the premier local ovals in the border region.
Community and Programs
The Wodonga Bulldogs Football and Sports Club fields teams across multiple grades in the O&MFNL and runs netball, junior, and women's programs as part of a broad community sporting offering. The club's connection to the broader Wodonga community is deep, with families across the city maintaining generational ties to the Bulldogs. The club also runs junior development programs to ensure a strong pipeline of local talent from Auskick through to senior football.
Wodonga
Wodonga is a city in north-east Victoria, located approximately 320 kilometres from Melbourne on the Murray River, forming the twin-city community of Albury-Wodonga with its New South Wales neighbour across the river. The combined population of Albury-Wodonga exceeds 100,000, making it one of Australia's largest inland urban areas. Wodonga is an important transport, logistics, and services hub for the region, and is home to a vibrant sporting community. The Bulldogs compete in the Ovens and Murray Football Netball League and call the Wodonga Sports and Leisure Centre home. Follow the Bulldogs on Facebook for fixtures, results, and club news, and follow them on Instagram for match day updates.

-
Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
