From milestone games to season-best performances, FootyBanners.com creates custom banners built for the Yanchep Red Hawks community. Whether it is a senior standout or a junior rising through the ranks, make every achievement a moment worth celebrating.
Simple to Order
Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner options, each made with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper. Just provide the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone and we will take care of the rest. Perfect for a hot Perth morning game day up at Yanchep.
Two Players, One Banner
When two Red Hawks hit the same milestone in the same match, our Two Player banner is the ideal way to honour them both. Provide both names and guernsey numbers and we will produce a quality banner the whole club can run behind.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Our Team Banner option lets you celebrate three to six players on a single banner. A top-line message like "Yanchep Red Hawks - Soar High!" brings the whole squad together for a celebration the entire club will love.
Wall Keepsake Banners
Available in Small, Medium, and Large on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks, our Wall Keepsake Banners are built to last. Hang your Red Hawks banner in the clubrooms, garage, or games room as a lasting tribute to a standout player or great season.
Grand Final Banners
When Yanchep Red Hawks make the Grand Final, give them an entrance to match the occasion. Our Grand Final Banners come in 4.5m and 5.5m with fully customised top and bottom text. Contact us for personalised design advice for your Yanchep Red Hawks Football Club Grand Final banner.
About Yanchep Red Hawks Football Club
Origins and Founding
The Yanchep Red Hawks Football Club was established in 1994 as the Sun City Social Football Club, originally formed as a social team to play against local rivals the Lancelin Pirates. The club was founded to serve the Yanchep and Two Rocks communities on the northern coastal fringe of Perth, and has grown progressively from a grassroots social side into a professionally run amateur football club. The Red Hawks nickname was adopted as the club formalised its operations and entered the competitive Perth football scene, with the club's home ground at Splendid Park in Yanchep providing a base for all its programs.
Club History
Over more than 30 years, the Yanchep Red Hawks have competed in the Metropolitan Sunday Football League (MSFL) for the majority of their history before transitioning to the West Australian Amateur Football League (WAAFL). The club has been based at Splendid Park in Yanchep, which the Perth Football League database lists as the club's official ground. In 2025, the club fielded its second-ever Colts team, alongside a Women's team (in its fifth year), a League (seniors) side, and a Reserves team - representing the club's most comprehensive football program in its history. The Red Hawks have built a strong reputation as one of the most community-minded clubs in Perth's outer northern suburbs, embodying the spirit of Yanchep and Two Rocks through consistent participation in Perth amateur football competition.
Home Ground
The Red Hawks are based at Splendid Park in Yanchep, WA. The park serves as the central sporting facility for the Yanchep community and hosts the club's home matches, training sessions, and social events. The ground's location reflects the club's role as a community anchor for the rapidly growing coastal residential communities of Yanchep and adjacent Two Rocks, where the Red Hawks are the primary Australian rules football club for thousands of residents.
Community and Programs
The Yanchep Red Hawks pride themselves on representing the Yanchep and Two Rocks region and are grateful for the local support they receive through donations, volunteers, and sponsorship. The club fields women's football (since 2021) and junior Colts programs alongside the senior men's sides, making the Red Hawks a genuine multi-team football club. The club's growth from a single social team in 1994 to a multi-grade operation reflects the population boom in Yanchep, one of Western Australia's fastest-growing outer suburban corridors.
Yanchep
Yanchep is a coastal suburb located approximately 56 kilometres north of Perth's CBD, within the City of Wanneroo local government area. Originally a small crayfishing settlement, it was developed by entrepreneur Alan Bond in the 1970s and 1980s partly in preparation for the 1987 America's Cup defence in Fremantle. The suburb recorded a population of 11,022 at the 2021 census, up significantly from just 2,032 in 2001, reflecting ongoing rapid residential growth. Yanchep is bounded by the Indian Ocean to the west and the adjacent coastal community of Two Rocks to the north, and is home to the renowned Yanchep National Park.
The Red Hawks compete in the WA Amateur Football League and play at Splendid Park, Yanchep WA. Visit the Red Hawks website, or follow the club on Facebook.

-
Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
