Brock-Burrum Saints Banners - Celebrate the BB Saints in Style

When a Brock-Burrum Saints player hits a major milestone, there is no better way to mark the moment than with a custom banner from FootyBanners.com. Whether it's a 50-game milestone or a landmark appearance, we'll create a personalised Saints banner that the whole club will remember.

Simple to Order

Ordering your Saints banner is straightforward. Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner options. Just supply the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Jake Brockley, #7, 100 Games. All banners are printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty paper and are fully weatherproof, ready to withstand a brisk Riverina winter morning without a worry.

Two Players, One Banner

When two Saints hit the same milestone in the same game, our Two Player Banner is the perfect solution. Provide both players' names and guernsey numbers, and we'll create one quality banner that celebrates them both side by side.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

Celebrating a group achievement? The Team Banner option is ideal for 3 to 6 players, letting you honour multiple Saints at once. A top-line message like "SAINTS - CHAMPIONS OF THE HUME" sets the tone, and a closing tagline ties the whole design together. Perfect for grand final days and end-of-season presentations.

Wall Keepsake Banners

Our Wall Keepsake Banners come in Small, Medium, and Large sizes, printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks built to last. Hang your Saints banner in the clubrooms, a garage, or a games room - wherever proud Brock-Burrum supporters gather to relive the great moments.

Grand Final Banners

For the biggest game of the year, we offer Grand Final Banners in 4.5m and 5.5m widths, fully customised with your choice of top and bottom text. Contact us for design advice to make sure the Brocklesby-Burrumbuttock Saints run out through something truly special on grand final day.

About Brock-Burrum Saints Football Club

Origins and Founding

The Brock-Burrum Saints Football and Netball Club was formed in 2006 through the merger of the Brocklesby and Burrumbuttock Football Clubs, two neighbouring communities in the Greater Hume Shire of New South Wales. The Brocklesby Football Club held its preliminary meeting in May 1907 and competed across multiple leagues throughout the early twentieth century. Burrumbuttock Football Club first entered the Hume Football League in 1937. By 2005, both clubs faced challenges sustaining their individual operations, leading to their amalgamation at the start of the 2006 season. As recorded on the club's official GameDay page, the newly combined club brought together the shared identity of two tight-knit Riverina towns.

Club History

Both founding clubs carried rich individual histories into the merger. Brocklesby played in nine consecutive grand finals between 1923 and 1931, winning Riverina Football Association premierships in 1924 and 1928. Brocklesby then won a dramatic Albury and District Football League premiership in 1939 - a result that survived a legal challenge all the way to the Victorian Country Football League before Brocklesby was confirmed as premiers. In the Hume Football League, Brocklesby won premierships in 1950 and 1958. Burrumbuttock added a Hume League premiership in 1951. The merged Brock-Burrum club has continued that winning tradition, claiming Hume Football League senior premierships in 2013, 2015, 2016, and 2018, and appearing as runners-up in 2019. Brocklesby also produced AFL player Justin Koschitzke, who went on to a distinguished career with St Kilda and Gold Coast Suns. Full premiership records can be explored on the Hume Football Netball League Wikipedia page.

Home Ground

Uniquely, the Brock-Burrum Saints maintain home grounds in both of their founding towns. The club plays matches at Brocklesby Recreation Reserve on Recreation Road, Brocklesby, and at Burrumbuttock Recreation Reserve in Burrumbuttock. This dual-ground arrangement reflects the club's foundational commitment to maintaining a presence in both communities rather than consolidating to a single location. Both grounds serve as community hubs in their respective towns, hosting football, netball, and social events throughout the season.

Community and Programs

The Brock-Burrum Football and Netball Club fields four football teams and six netball teams, making it one of the larger multi-code clubs in the Hume Football Netball League. The club runs junior football programs to develop young players from both towns and surrounding properties, and its netball program forms an integral part of the community offering. Social events such as the annual season launch and presentation nights draw supporters from across the Greater Hume Shire region. The BB Saints emblem - representing two towns under one banner - is central to the club's identity.

Brocklesby and Burrumbuttock

Brocklesby is a small town in the Riverina region of south-west New South Wales, located 45 kilometres north-west of Albury and approximately 567 kilometres from Sydney. The town had a population of 218 at the 2021 census, according to the Brocklesby Wikipedia entry. It sits within the Greater Hume Shire Council area and is known for its agricultural character - dominated by sheep, cattle and grain farming - as well as a historically significant mid-air plane collision during World War Two. Burrumbuttock is a similarly small rural community a short distance away, and together the two towns form the heartland of the BB Saints' supporter base.

The Saints compete in the Hume Football Netball League and call both Brocklesby Recreation Reserve and Burrumbuttock Recreation Reserve home. Follow the club on Facebook for news, match updates, and community announcements from the BB Saints.

    🔧 Preparation & Run-Through Setup - Expert instructions for break-through milestone banners.

    • Rigging Your Banner

      • Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.

      • This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.

    • Creating the Break-Through Slits

      • Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

      • Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.

    💡 Tips & Tricks

    • Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.

    • Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
