Simple to Order

Our Single Player Banner makes ordering a breeze. Just provide the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Riley Thompson, #5, 50 Games - and we handle everything from there. Printed with permanent weatherproof inks on heavy-duty paper, your banner will survive every cold and blustery Victorian country afternoon.

Two Players, One Banner

Celebrating two Tigers players on the same day? Our Two Player Banner is ideal for sharing the spotlight between two players hitting the same milestone. Simply provide both players' names and guernsey numbers and we'll create a quality banner fit for the occasion.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

The Team Banner option accommodates 3 to 6 players in a single design - perfect for junior age groups celebrating together. A top-line message like "Go Junior Tigers!" brings the banner to life and makes it a lasting memento for the whole club.

Wall Keepsake Banners

Our Wall Keepsake Banners are available in Small, Medium, and Large, printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks that won't fade over time. Hang yours in the clubrooms, the garage, or the games room as a permanent reminder of a great junior footy journey with the Tigers.

About Lancefield Junior Tigers Football Club

Origins and Founding

The Lancefield Junior Tigers Football Club is the junior arm of the Lancefield Football Netball Club - one of the oldest football clubs in Victoria. The senior club was founded in 1873, with one of its earliest recorded matches played against Kyneton in July 1879. The club competed in various district associations in the late 19th and early 20th centuries before joining the Riddell District Football Association in 1920. The junior program builds directly on this rich tradition, providing Lancefield's young players with a pathway into the RDFNL's senior competition and maintaining the Tigers' proud community football heritage across generations.

Club History

The Lancefield Tigers have won 16 premierships across their history in the Riddell District Football League, including titles in 1923, 1924, 1932, 1946, 1949, 1952, 1958, 1966, 1995, 1996, 2004, and 2009. Back-to-back premierships in 1995 and 1996 were followed by further flags in 2004 and 2009. The club has produced players who went on to the VFL/AFL, including Frank Caine and Harvey Gibson to Carlton, Jack McCormack to Richmond, and Alexander "Ike" Johnston to Carlton. In 2023, the club published a comprehensive history book covering 150 years of Lancefield football from 1873 to 2023. The junior club is a feeder for this senior program and has produced many players who have graduated to RDFNL senior ranks over the decades.

Home Ground

The Junior Tigers train and play at Lancefield Park in Lancefield, which holds approximately 5,000 spectators and serves as the central sporting facility for the township. The ground hosts both football and netball programs across senior, junior, and women's competitions. In recent years, Lancefield Park has had its oval lighting upgraded, allowing training and some matches to be held under lights. The park is centrally located in Lancefield's township, making it a natural gathering point for the community.

Community and Programs

The Lancefield Junior Tigers Football Club operates as part of the broader Lancefield Football Netball Club, which runs football and netball programs for players of all ages. The junior football program caters for age groups from the earliest junior levels through to youth football, providing a structured development pathway in the Riddell District Football Netball League. Families from Lancefield, Romsey, Kilmore, and the wider Macedon Ranges corridor form the club's junior membership base, and the club's annual events - including its ANZAC Day fixture against Kyneton - are highlights of the local sporting calendar.

Lancefield and the Macedon Ranges

Lancefield is a small rural township in the Macedon Ranges Shire of Victoria, situated approximately 61 kilometres north of Melbourne. With a population of around 1,200 residents at the 2021 census, the town is surrounded by farming and grazing country in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range. Lancefield was an early gold rush era settlement and has maintained a strong community sporting tradition dating back to the 1870s. The Macedon Ranges Shire is known for its wineries, historic townships, and outdoor recreation, with Lancefield positioned in the northern section of the shire near the boundary of the Mitchell Shire.

The Junior Tigers compete in the Riddell District Football Netball League and call Lancefield Park home. Follow the club on Instagram for match day updates and club news.

    • Premium Coated Paper (1.6 m high) printed with permanent, waterproof inks—won’t run or fade, even in wet weather.

    🔧 Preparation & Run-Through Setup - Expert instructions for break-through milestone banners.

    • Rigging Your Banner

      • Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.

      • This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.

    • Creating the Break-Through Slits

      • Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

      • Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.

    💡 Tips & Tricks

    • Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.

    • Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
