Brothers Penrith Junior Rugby League Banners - Celebrating Every Brothers Milestone
Whether it's a junior's first season milestone or a senior Brothers player hitting a major game tally, FootyBanners.com creates stunning custom banners for the Brothers Penrith Rugby League community. Let us help your club celebrate in style - just as the game deserves.
Simple to Order
Ordering a Brothers Penrith banner is fast and easy. Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner styles. For player banners, provide the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Jayden Walsh, #8, 100 Games. All banners use permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper, built to last through a steamy Penrith afternoon on the footy field.
Two Players, One Banner
When two Brothers players are hitting the same milestone at the same time, our Two Player Banner is a great way to mark the moment together. Provide both players' names and guernsey numbers - the milestone game must be the same for both - and we'll create a quality banner that celebrates both in style.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Our Team Banner option covers 3 to 6 players - perfect for presentation nights and milestone rounds. A top-line message like "Brothers Penrith - Club Award Winners" ties the whole celebration together and gives every player on the banner something to take home and treasure.
Wall Keepsake Banners
Available in Small, Medium, and Large, our Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks. Display them proudly in the Brothers clubrooms or take them home - these banners are built to last and serve as a lasting memento of everything the Brothers mean to their community.
Grand Final Banners
Available in 4.5m and 5.5m sizes, Grand Final Banners for the Brothers Penrith Junior Rugby League can be fully customised with your chosen top and bottom text. Contact us for design advice and we'll make sure your banner is grand-final ready.
About Brothers Penrith Junior Rugby League Club
Origins and Founding
Brothers Penrith Junior Rugby League Club has its origins at St Dominic's College in Penrith, where teams were first entered into the Penrith District Junior Rugby League in the early 1960s. In 1968, St Dominic's J.R.L.C. was formally established as an independent body separate from the College, driven by a group of rugby league enthusiasts - principally parents of students attending St Dominic's - with Harry Slaughter and John Hasler (father of NRL coaching identity Des Hasler) as the founding forces. The club entered 4 teams in its inaugural 1968 season. From those humble beginnings, what was then St Dominic's grew into one of the largest junior rugby league clubs not just in the Penrith district, but in the entire world. In 2003, the club formally changed its name to Brothers Penrith Junior Rugby League Club Incorporated, dropping the Catholic school association and becoming a fully non-denominational community club open to players from all backgrounds across the broader Penrith area.
Club History
Since its formation in 1968, Brothers Penrith has grown dramatically in both size and competitive standing. By 2023, the club was fielding 49 sides across age groups from Under 6s through to Open Men, making it one of the most substantial junior rugby league operations in New South Wales. That same year, Brothers also entered two teams in NSWRL major competitions - the Sydney Shield and the Ron Massey Cup - demonstrating the club's depth of talent and ambition beyond the junior district level. The club competes in First Division across all but two age groups, reflecting a consistently high standard of play. The club's connection to senior rugby league was further strengthened in 2024, when Brothers entered into a partnership agreement with the Penrith Panthers NRL club, creating a formal pathway for Brothers players to access Panthers junior representative teams and the NSW Cup program.
Home Ground
Brothers Penrith play their home games at Parker Street Reserve in Penrith - a major community sporting precinct that hosts the club's Saturday and Sunday competitions across multiple fields. The club also utilises Caddens and an athletics field at Parker Street Reserve, providing sufficient space for the large number of teams Brothers fields each weekend. Parker Street Reserve is one of Penrith's most active junior sporting venues and serves as a focal point for the western Sydney rugby league community each weekend during the season.
Community and Programs
Brothers Penrith is defined by its community-first philosophy. The club's stated aim is that all juniors - male and female, at all ability levels - enjoy their sport at the level at which they participate. In 2014, the club introduced the Try Time program, a pioneering all-inclusive initiative for participants with mental disabilities. Starting with just 6 participants, the Try Time program grew to 35 participants by 2023, ranging in age from 6 years old to adults in their 40s. The program has become one of the most celebrated aspects of the Brothers Penrith identity, demonstrating the club's commitment to inclusive sport that extends well beyond competition outcomes. Brothers also fields female teams and supports players through junior pathways into representative and elite-level rugby league.
Penrith
Penrith is a major city in western Sydney, New South Wales, located approximately 50 kilometres west of the Sydney CBD at the foot of the Blue Mountains. It serves as the administrative centre of the City of Penrith local government area, which has a population of over 230,000 people. Penrith is well known for its rugby league culture - the Penrith Panthers NRL club is one of the most storied in the competition, having won multiple premierships - and junior rugby league is deeply embedded in the community fabric. The broader Penrith area is bordered by the Nepean River to the west and has grown significantly over recent decades with major residential development spreading across the Western Sydney corridor. Brothers Penrith's size and ambition reflect the scale and passion of the community it serves.

Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
