Burleigh Bombers Banners - Crafted for Every Milestone on the Gold Coast

FootyBanners.com has everything you need to celebrate a Burleigh Bombers milestone properly - from a player's first ton of games to a championship push, we make custom banners that are as special as the occasion.

Simple to Order

Select from our Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner options and provide the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone (for example, Chris Allan, #17, 100 Games). Every banner is printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty paper that stands tall through a sweltering Queensland afternoon at the oval.

Two Players, One Banner

Two Bombers players sharing the same milestone on the same day? Our Two Player banner brings both celebrations together in one quality design. Just give us both players' names and guernsey numbers and we'll handle the rest.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

When 3 to 6 players are all reaching milestones in the same season, our Team Banner is the way to go. Choose a punchy top-line message like "Boom Bombers Boom!" and give your whole group something to be proud of running through.

Wall Keepsake Banners

Our Wall Keepsake Banners come in Small, Medium, and Large sizes, produced on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks. A great fit for the Bombers clubrooms or a home display that keeps a great career alive in memory.

Grand Final Banners

When the Bombers go all the way, make sure the run-through banner matches the occasion - choose 4.5m or 5.5m and have the top and bottom lines fully customised for Burleigh Bombers AFC. Contact us for design support in the lead-up to the big game.

About Burleigh Bombers Football Club

Origins and Founding

The Burleigh Bombers Australian Rules Football Club was established in 1979 in Burleigh Waters on the Gold Coast, Queensland. The club was formed to represent the Burleigh community in Australian rules football and has grown from a single-team club into one of the Gold Coast's largest community football organisations. The Bombers acknowledge the Yugambeh people as the traditional owners of the land on which the club trains and plays.

Club History

The Burleigh Bombers have developed into a major football force on the Gold Coast, competing in AFL Queensland competitions. The club competes at senior level in the AFL Queensland State League's Division One. The women's team - known as the Bombettes - has grown strongly alongside the senior men's program. In 2023, the Bombers won the QFA Division 2 South senior premiership. In 2024, both the senior men's and reserves teams claimed QFA Division 2 premierships, with the Bombettes also winning the QFAW Division 2 senior premiership and the Under-17 Girls Division 1 premiership that same year. The club's junior division has expanded to over 600 junior members, providing a thriving development pathway through Auskick to senior football. The club has also produced AFL-level talent including Leo Lombard.

Home Ground

The Bombers play their home games at Bill Godfrey Oval, located at 111 Christine Avenue, Burleigh Waters. The ground is part of the John Handley Community Complex and serves as the home base for both the senior and junior programs. The facility provides training and match-day infrastructure for all grades of the club.

Community and Programs

The club runs a comprehensive range of programs from Auskick through to senior and women's football, with separate Juniors and Seniors hubs both active on social media and within the community. With over 600 junior members, the Burleigh Bombers are one of the Gold Coast's larger community sporting organisations. The club is committed to providing a welcoming football environment for all ages and skill levels across the Burleigh and broader Gold Coast community.

Burleigh Waters

Burleigh Waters is a suburb in the City of Gold Coast, Queensland, situated approximately 12 kilometres south of Surfers Paradise and around 89 kilometres south-south-east of the Brisbane CBD. • Footy Banner Information

    📄 Material & Construction

    • Premium Coated Paper (1.6 m high) printed with permanent, waterproof inks—won’t run or fade, even in wet weather.

    • Eco-friendly & Recyclable: All banners are fully recyclable when the celebration is over.

    • Durable weatherproof sports banners printed on heavy-duty coated paper - these banners are not made of crepe paper.

    🔧 Preparation & Run-Through Setup - Expert instructions for break-through milestone banners.

    • Rigging Your Banner

      • Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.

      • This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.

    • Creating the Break-Through Slits

      • Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

      • Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.

    💡 Tips & Tricks

    • Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.

    • Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
