Burpengary Jets Banners - Celebrating Every Junior Rugby League Achievement

Give a young Jet the recognition they deserve with a custom banner from FootyBanners.com. Whether it's a first-grade game, a season milestone, or a grand final celebration, a Burpengary Jets banner is a special moment your whole family will cherish.

Simple to Order

Select from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banners. For player banners, simply provide the name, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Cooper Smith, #9, 50 Games. All banners are printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper, perfectly suited to a sunny Queensland afternoon on the footy field.

Two Players, One Banner

Got two Jets reaching the same milestone? Celebrate both with a Two Player banner on the one run-through. Both players must share the same milestone, and you'll provide names and guernsey numbers for both. A memorable keepsake for two proud Burpengary junior players.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

Feature 3-6 players on a Team Banner to mark a standout season or a grand final run. Customise the top-line message - try something like "Burpengary Jets Juniors - Fly High!" - and create a lasting memory for your whole squad. Go the Jets!

Wall Keepsake Banners

Available in Small, Medium, and Large, our Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks. Display your Burpengary Jets banner in the clubhouse, a bedroom wall, or the family games room as a lasting tribute to your junior champion.

Grand Final Banners

For the biggest game of the season, choose a Grand Final banner in 4.5m or 5.5m. Fully customised top and bottom text makes your Burpengary Jets Junior Rugby League banner one to remember. Contact us for design advice before the big day.

About Burpengary Jets Junior Rugby League Football Club

Origins and Founding

The Burpengary Junior Rugby League Football Club was founded on 8 August 1984, established by a group of local parents with a vision to give their children and others in the Burpengary community the chance to play rugby league. The club is affiliated with the Queensland Rugby League and competes in the Moreton Bay district competition. Known as the Jets, the club has grown from those grassroots origins into one of the fastest-growing standalone junior rugby league clubs in the Brisbane region, with over 550 registered players as of the 2023 season.

Club History

In their four-decade history, the Jets have expanded steadily from a junior-only club into a broader organisation. A landmark came in 2024 when the Jets fielded an Open Men's Division 1 team for the first time in the club's 40-year history, marking a significant step in the club's growth. The Jets have also been involved in the Moreton Bay Central Sports Complex precinct, which was constructed in Burpengary to serve the region's growing population. The club draws participants from across the Burpengary, Narangba, and Morayfield catchments.

Home Ground

The Jets play out of facilities at 111 Station Road, Burpengary, Queensland 4505. The club's grounds are part of the broader community sporting precinct in the area and are used for training and home game days throughout the rugby league season.

Community and Programs

Burpengary Jets is a junior-focused club offering tackle competition for players Under-8 and above, along with development programs for younger age groups. The club is run as a community-based organisation and caters to players from the primary school years through to open-age men's competition. Beyond rugby league, the Jets have connections to a netball program through the Burpengary Jets Netball club, reflecting the broader sporting community network in the area.

Burpengary

Burpengary is a town and suburb in the City of Moreton Bay, Queensland, located approximately 38.9 kilometres north of Brisbane's CBD. The suburb recorded a population of 16,488 at the 2021 Census and covers 22.5 square kilometres. Burpengary sits between Narangba to the south and Morayfield to the north along the Bruce Highway corridor, and has grown significantly as part of the Moreton Bay region's broader residential expansion over recent decades.

The Jets compete in the Moreton Bay junior rugby league competition and are based at 111 Station Road, Burpengary. Visit the club at burpengaryjets.com.au, follow them on Facebook, or find them on Instagram.

  • Footy Banner Information

Material:  All Footy Banners are printed on 1.6 Metre high coated paper using permanent inks which will not run, even if they get wet.  They are fully recyclable.

How to Use:  We recommend taping broomsticks or plastic pipe to the ends of the banner to hold it flat whilst the player runs through it.  If you cut vertical slits in the banner in the centre, it creates a weak spot where it will break and look best when run through.  There are instructions and images for how to cut these in the FAQ section below.

On a windy day, cut smaller vertical slits in the Footy Banner so if the wind catches it, it doesn't rip too soon!  This is why we do not pre-cut them, and also so you can get photographs with your intact banner when it looks at it's best.

Tip: Some players choose to only cut one weak spot in their banner so it can be saved and displayed later by taping it back together on the back.

Pro Tip:  Cut the weak spot to one side of the mascot or team logo so it stays intact as well!

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
