Redcliffe Tigers Banners - Fierce Pride for the Moreton Bay Region

The Redcliffe Tigers AFC are the club of choice for players and supporters across the Moreton Bay region. FootyBanners.com is proud to help the Tigers celebrate their players' milestones with custom banners that reflect the passion and pride of the club.

Simple to Order

Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banners. Provide the player's name, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Josh Parrish, #17, 150 Games. Printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper, Redcliffe Tigers banners hold up through every scorching Queensland afternoon on the boundary line.

Two Players, One Banner

When two Tigers reach the same milestone in the same game, our Two Player banner gives them both the recognition they deserve. Provide both players' names and guernsey numbers and we'll create a quality keepsake that both families and the whole club will be proud to display.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

Celebrate three to six Redcliffe Tigers players together with our Team Banner option - perfect for milestone rounds or club presentation evenings. Add a powerful top-line message like "Redcliffe Tigers AFC - Proud of Our Stripes" and close with a tagline that unites the whole club.

Wall Keepsake Banners

Our Wall Keepsake Banners are available in Small, Medium, and Large, printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks. A banner for every Redcliffe Tigers legend - whether it ends up in the clubrooms, in the garage, or on the wall of a proud supporter's games room.

Grand Final Banners

For the Redcliffe Tigers AFC's most important game of the season, our 4.5m and 5.5m Grand Final banners are fully customisable with personalised top and bottom text. Contact us for design guidance and we'll help the Tigers make a statement when they run out onto the ground.

About Redcliffe Tigers Australian Football Club

Origins and Founding

The Redcliffe Tigers Australian Football Club was established in November 1974 as the Redcliffe Peninsula Australian Football Club. Before the club's formation, Redcliffe residents had to cross the Hornibrook Bridge toll bridge to access Australian rules football. The club initially played home games at Clontarf Beach State High School in 1975 and 1976 before relocating to Rothwell in 1977. The club's first junior teams participated in social competitions from the early years, with organised junior competition beginning in 1981 when the first level of the clubhouse was also completed. The club became incorporated in March 1991 and adopted the Redcliffe Tigers name to reflect its identity, inspired by the Richmond Tigers' guernsey the club had worn for many years.

Club History

The Redcliffe Tigers earned promotion to Division 1 in 1989, marked by the installation of the club's first boundary fence. Premiership success followed with the 1988 SQAFA Division 2 flag, the 2002 AFL Queensland State Association Division 2 premiership (senior and reserve champions), the 2005 Division 1 flag, and the 2008 Division 2 flag. More recently the club won back-to-back Division 2 senior and reserves premierships in 2025, demonstrating that the Tigers remain competitive more than 50 years after the club's founding. The women's program, after a long hiatus, returned in 2019 and has continued to grow since.

Home Ground

The Redcliffe Tigers play their home matches at Nathan Road Sports Ground in Kippa-Ring, Queensland. The club has been based in the Rothwell-Kippa-Ring area since 1977, and the two-storey clubhouse - completed with its second level in 1983 - remains a central part of the club's identity. The ground has evolved significantly over five decades, from its earliest days without a boundary fence to a modern community sporting hub that hosts football from under-8.5s through to senior and women's competitions.

Community and Programs

The Redcliffe Tigers run one of the most comprehensive club structures on the Redcliffe Peninsula, fielding teams across under-8.5s through to under-17s girls, Masters, Reserves, Seniors, and Women's. The club caters to players across a wide age range and has a strong Auskick entry pathway for young children in the Moreton Bay region. The Tigers describe themselves as the "club of choice for the Moreton Bay region" and their programs reflect a commitment to community-wide participation in Australian football, regardless of age or ability.

Redcliffe and Kippa-Ring

The Redcliffe Peninsula is a coastal suburban region located approximately 28 kilometres north of the Brisbane CBD in the Moreton Bay local government area. Kippa-Ring, where the club's home ground is located, is one of the Peninsula's main suburbs, bordered by Clontarf and Redcliffe itself along the eastern Moreton Bay coastline. The peninsula is known for its beaches, boat ramps, and strong community identity, and has undergone significant population growth over the past two decades as Brisbane's northern corridor has expanded. The Redcliffe Tigers are one of the most established sporting clubs on the peninsula and play an important role in the local community.

The Tigers compete in AFL Queensland and call Nathan Road Sports Ground, Kippa-Ring home. Visit the club website for more information, follow them on Facebook, and follow them on Instagram for news and match day updates.

  • Footy Banner Information

All Footy Banners are printed on 1.6 Metre high coated paper using solvent inks which will not run, even if they get wet.

We recommend taping broomsticks to the ends of the banner to hold it flat whilst the player runs through it.  if you cut vertical slits in the banner in the centre, it creates a weak spot where it will break and look best when run through.

On a windy day, cut smaller vertical slits in the Footy Banner so if the wind catches it, it doesn't rip too soon!

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
