Printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty paper, your banner will hold up through whatever a NSW afternoon brings your way.

Two Players, One Banner

Got two Shamrocks reaching the same milestone on game day? Our Two Player banner lets you celebrate both at once. Just provide both names and guernsey numbers and we'll create a quality banner worthy of two deserving players.

About Beechwood Shamrocks RLFC

Origins and Founding

The Beechwood Shamrocks Rugby League Football Club was established in 1920, making it one of the founding clubs of the Hastings District Rugby League - a community competition that has been running on the Mid-North Coast of New South Wales since its inaugural season that same year. The Shamrocks take their name from the Irish shamrock, a nod to the club's identity and its long-standing place in the small community of Beechwood. With over a century of continuous rugby league, the Beechwood Shamrocks are one of the oldest surviving rugby league clubs in regional New South Wales.

Club History

The Beechwood Shamrocks hold the distinction of being the most successful club in the history of the Hastings District Rugby League, having claimed the most premiership titles of any team in the competition's history - 15 titles in all. In 2020, the Shamrocks celebrated their 100th year of participation in the Hastings League, a milestone that underscored the club's extraordinary longevity and community relevance in the Beechwood area.

The club has remained competitive into the 2020s, appearing in the 2023 men's grand final as runners-up. The Shamrocks' women's programme has also earned silverware: the club's ladies tackle team won the inaugural Hastings League women's championship in 2018, defeating Kendall 20-10, and then retained the title in 2019 with a commanding 44-4 victory over South West Rocks. This women's competition later evolved into the independent North Coast Women's Rugby League in 2022.

Home Ground

The Shamrocks play their home games at Beechwood Oval (Football Fields), the club's traditional ground in Beechwood. The oval has served as the club's home throughout its century of competition and continues to be the centre of rugby league activity in the Beechwood community. Training sessions for the 2026 season were held at Beechwood Oval, reflecting the ground's ongoing role as the operational heart of the club.

Community and Programs

The Beechwood Shamrocks operate across multiple grades, fielding men's and women's senior sides within the Hastings District Rugby League framework. The club functions as a central community institution in Beechwood, drawing players and supporters not only from the village itself but also from the surrounding Hastings Valley district. The Shamrocks' enduring presence across more than 100 years represents a remarkable achievement for a club based in a small rural village, demonstrating the deep connection between rugby league and community identity in regional New South Wales.

Beechwood, New South Wales

Beechwood is a small rural village in the Hastings Valley region of New South Wales, located in the Port Macquarie-Hastings local government area. At the 2021 census, Beechwood recorded a population of 914, with the village covering an area of approximately 9.92 square kilometres. Situated in the hinterland behind Port Macquarie on the Mid-North Coast, Beechwood is a tight-knit agricultural community where the Shamrocks RLFC has served as a focal point for social and sporting life for over a century. The broader Port Macquarie-Hastings area is one of the fastest-growing coastal regions in New South Wales.

The Shamrocks compete in the Hastings District Rugby League and call Beechwood Oval home. Follow the club's latest news on Facebook for match updates, training announcements, and club events.

    • Premium Coated Paper (1.6 m high) printed with permanent, waterproof inks—won’t run or fade, even in wet weather.

    🔧 Preparation & Run-Through Setup - Expert instructions for break-through milestone banners.

    • Rigging Your Banner

      • Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.

      • This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.

    • Creating the Break-Through Slits

      • Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

      • Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.

    💡 Tips & Tricks

    • Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.

    • Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.

  • Return and Refund Policy

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
