Greenvale Jets Banners - Celebrate Every Milestone in Style

From a first senior game to a big career milestone, FootyBanners.com creates a custom banner for Greenvale Jets players and families. Every banner is made to order, printed with your player's name and achievement ready to display on game day.

Simple to Order

Choose a Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner and send through the player's name, surname, guernsey number and milestone - for example, Josh Miller, #22, 100 Games. Every banner is printed with permanent inks onto heavy-duty, weatherproof paper, made to handle a frosty Melbourne morning on the sideline.

Two Players, One Banner

Got two Jets reaching the same milestone game together? Send through both players' names and guernsey numbers and we'll combine them onto one quality two-player banner to mark the shared achievement.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

Celebrating a finals run or a milestone team? Our Team Banner option fits 3 to 6 players on one banner. A top-line message like "Greenvale Jets - Finals Bound" sets the tone, finished with a closing tagline the whole side will remember.

Wall Keepsake Banners

Available in Small, Medium and Large sizes, our Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick, recyclable paper with waterproof inks, ready to hang in the clubrooms, garage or games room as a lasting tribute to a Jets milestone.

Grand Final Banners

Send the team out under a 4.5m or 5.5m Grand Final Banner, fully customised with your own top and bottom text. Get in touch with our team for design advice if you would like help creating the perfect banner for Greenvale Football Club.

About Greenvale Football Club

Origins and Founding

Greenvale Football Club was founded in 1990 as a junior club by Les Norris, who led the club until his death in April 2009. The club fielded its first senior side in 1996, entering B Grade of the Essendon District Football League, as detailed on the club's Wikipedia page. The Jets grew quickly, fielding fifteen teams across the EDFL by 2005.

Club History

Greenvale won its first premiership in B Grade in 2002, before claiming its first A Grade flag in 2004. After finals heartbreak in 2005 and 2008, the club enjoyed an unbeaten 2007 season that ended in a premiership over Strathmore. A dramatic 2012 Grand Final saw Greenvale prevail by just two points after trailing for most of the final term, and the Jets went back-to-back in 2013, winning by 14 points with Eric Kuret named best on ground. The club's official Instagram lists a further flag in 2024, taking the club's senior premiership tally to six.

Home Ground

Greenvale plays home games at Greenvale Reserve No. 1 Oval, which hosts both senior and junior teams, with the club's junior programs also using Greenvale Reserve No. 2 Oval and No. 4 Oval across the same reserve.

Community and Programs

Greenvale runs an extensive junior program alongside its senior teams, having added a second Under 18s side in 2009 to keep pace with growing local demand. The club has continued to invest in its home grounds over the years, including lighting upgrades and the development of additional junior ovals at Greenvale Reserve.

Greenvale

Greenvale is a suburb around 20 kilometres north of Melbourne's CBD, within the City of Hume. It recorded a population of 21,274 at the 2021 census, and is home to Woodlands Historic Park, a native animal sanctuary and Wurundjeri heritage site on the suburb's northern edge.

The Jets compete in the EDFL and call Greenvale Reserve home. Visit the club website for fixtures and news, follow the Jets on Facebook, and check out their Instagram for match day updates.

    📄 Material & Construction

    • Premium Coated Paper (1.6 m high) printed with permanent, waterproof inks—won’t run or fade, even in wet weather.

    • Eco-friendly & Recyclable: All banners are fully recyclable when the celebration is over.

    • Durable weatherproof sports banners printed on heavy-duty coated paper - these banners are not made of crepe paper.

    🔧 Preparation & Run-Through Setup - Expert instructions for break-through milestone banners.

    • Rigging Your Banner

      • Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.

      • This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.

    • Creating the Break-Through Slits

      • Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

      • Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.

    💡 Tips & Tricks

    • Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.

    • Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
