Printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper, your banner will hold up through any brisk NSW country day out in Henty.

Two Swampies reaching the same milestone? Our Two Player banner lets you celebrate both players together on one banner. Simply supply each player's name, guernsey number, and milestone for a moment the whole club will enjoy.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Honour 3 to 6 players at once with our Team Banner option. Imagine the Swampies running out under a banner reading "Henty Swampies - Our Champions" at your next grand final or end-of-season presentation night. A fantastic way to celebrate your team's collective achievements.

Available in Small, Medium, and Large sizes, our Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks built to last. Hang them in the Swampies clubrooms, at home, or in a games room as a proud tribute to a standout career.

About Henty Football and Netball Club
Origins and Founding
The Henty Football and Netball Club, known as the Swampies, was established in 1895, making it one of the oldest football clubs in the Riverina region of New South Wales. The club was originally affiliated with the Culcairn and District League before joining the Farrer Football League as a founding member in 1957, when the competition broke away from the Albury and District Football League. Henty competed in the Farrer Football League from 1957 until 1979 before eventually joining what is now the Hume Football Netball League, where the club has remained ever since.
Club History
The Swampies have accumulated a strong premiership record across more than 130 years of competition. The club won three consecutive flags in 1986 under senior coach Wayne Styles, a feat that remains one of the standout chapters in Henty's football history. After a long drought, the Swampies broke through in 2014, defeating Brocklesby-Burrumbuttock to claim their first Hume FNL premiership since 1996. The club's netball program has also remained competitive, with the Henty Swampies claiming the 2025 Hume Netball A-Grade title with a thrilling come-from-behind win over minor premiers Jindera 30-29, as reported by Greater Hume Council.
Home Ground
The Swampies play their home games in Henty, a rural town on the Olympic Highway in southern New South Wales. The ground serves as the home base for both the football and netball sides of the club, which compete throughout the Hume FNL season. The club's facilities have been developed by generations of volunteers who have maintained the venue as a community gathering place on match days.
Community and Programs
The Henty Football and Netball Club fields junior and senior teams in both football and netball, providing pathways for young players in the Henty district. The club is a central institution in the Henty community, bringing families together through sport since 1895. As a combined football and netball club, the Swampies play a vital role in the social and sporting life of this rural New South Wales town.
Henty
Henty is a rural town in southern New South Wales within the Greater Hume Council local government area, located on the Olympic Highway. The town has a population of approximately 1,225 and is known for its agricultural heritage, including the invention of the header harvester by local farmer Headlie Taylor in 1914. The broader Greater Hume Council area has a population of 11,157 (2021 census), making it a small but vibrant regional community in the NSW Riverina-Murray region.
The Swampies compete in the Hume Football Netball League and call Henty home.

-
Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
