Simple to Order
Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner formats. To personalise your banner, provide the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Jack Morrison, #10, 100 Games. Printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper, your banner will hold up through every rain-soaked NSW afternoon out at Burragorang Road.
Two Players, One Banner
Two Workers reaching a milestone together? Our Two Player banner puts both players on the same banner for a shared celebration the whole club will cheer for. Supply both players' names, guernsey numbers, and the milestone they're both hitting.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Celebrate 3 to 6 players at once with our Team Banner option. A banner reading "Oakdale Workers - Our Champions" is the perfect statement piece for your end-of-season awards night or premiership celebration - one the Workers faithful will never forget.

About Oakdale Workers Rugby League Football Club
Origins and Founding
The Oakdale Workers Rugby League Football Club was formed in 1963, drawing on the close-knit mining and farming community of Oakdale in New South Wales. The club's identity is tied to the Oakdale Workers Sport and Recreation Club, which was established in 1953 to serve local families in the area. Since the football club's formation, the Workers have become one of the most prominent clubs in the Macarthur Conference Rugby League (historically known as Group 6 Rugby League), a competition covering the Southern Highlands and southern Macarthur regions of New South Wales.
Club History and Premierships
The Workers have competed at a high level throughout their history, contesting eight Group 6 grand finals. They broke through for their inaugural title in 1993, defeating Camden Rams 29-14 at Kirkham Park in a memorable grand final coached by Frank Marino and captained by Brian Brown. Their second Group 6 premiership came in 2011, when the Workers claimed the title with a 24-point victory over East Campbelltown. Those two premierships stand as the club's greatest achievements at first grade level, cementing their place among the competition's most respected clubs.
Home Ground
The Workers play their home games at Sid Sharpe Memorial Oval in Oakdale, situated along Burragorang Road. The ground serves as the base for all Oakdale Workers home fixtures across all grades, including junior competitions and the women's team, which competes separately in the Group 6 women's competition.
Community and Programs
Oakdale Workers fields teams across multiple grades including First Grade, Reserve Grade and junior competitions, providing a strong development pathway for players in the region. The club's women's side also competes in the Group 6 competition, reflecting the Workers' commitment to growing rugby league participation across all levels. The club's deep ties to the Oakdale Workers Sport and Recreation Club give it a social and community hub at the heart of the local area.
Oakdale and Wollondilly
Oakdale is a semi-rural suburb in the Wollondilly Shire of New South Wales. The suburb recorded a population of 2,028 in the 2021 Census. The broader Wollondilly region is characterised by a mix of rural and semi-rural communities across the Southern Highlands and Macarthur areas, where rugby league has historically been one of the dominant community sports.
The Workers compete in the Macarthur Conference Rugby League and call Sid Sharpe Memorial Oval home. Visit the official Oakdale Workers website for fixtures, news, and membership. Follow the Workers on Facebook for match day updates and club news. Follow them on Instagram for photos and highlights throughout the season.

-
Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
