Renmark Rovers Football Club Banners — Celebrate Every Rovers Milestone

From a 50-game debut to a 200-game milestone, FootyBanners.com produces personalised banners that honour the achievements of the Rovers with the quality they deserve. Every milestone in the famous blue and red should have a banner to match.

Simple to Order

Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner styles. Provide the player's first name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone — for example, Jake Crawford, #6, 100 Games. Every banner is printed with permanent, fade-resistant inks on sturdy paper that holds up even under a sweltering Riverland summer afternoon at Renmark Oval.

Two Players, One Banner

Two Rovers players hitting the same milestone on the same day? A Two Player banner puts both names and guernsey numbers side by side on one quality keepsake that captures the shared achievement perfectly.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

Celebrating a premiership or a round of milestones? A Team Banner fits 3 to 6 players and can carry a top-line message such as "Renmark Rovers — 2025 Premiers!" A fitting way to honour what this great club has achieved together.

Wall Keepsake Banners

Available in Small, Medium, and Large, Wall Keepsake Banners are produced on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks that stay vivid for years to come. Display one in the Rovers clubrooms, at Renmark Oval, or at home as a lasting tribute to the Renmark Rovers and the moments that made history.

Grand Final Banners

When the big occasion arrives, Grand Final Banners come in 4.5m and 5.5m sizes with fully customised top and bottom text. Reach out to the FootyBanners.com team for design guidance for your Renmark Rovers Football Club Grand Final Banner.

About Renmark Rovers Football Club

Origins and Founding

Football in Renmark dates to 1909, when the town's clubs entered the newly formed Murray Football Association and won their first premiership in 1912. The competition was renamed the Upper Murray Football Association in 1919 and the Upper Murray Football League in 1952. In 1921, the local club reorganised under the name Renmark Town Football Club, and in 1923 Renmark Town merged with the Fairview Rovers to form the Renmark Rovers Football Club. The club celebrated its centennial in June 2009, marking more than a century of football in the Renmark community.

Club History

The Riverland Football League (RFL) adopted its current name in 1927, and Renmark Rovers claimed their first RFL premiership in 1977. The Rovers have since become the most decorated club in the competition, winning 21 RFL premierships in total. Recent seasons have seen strong success: the 2019 A Grade flag ended a 10-year drought under playing coach Josh Vater and captain Matt Woolford, 2021 brought both A Grade and B Grade premierships, and 2022 added another A Grade title. The club's trophy cabinet also includes multiple junior and youth premierships across Under 9, Under 11, Under 13, Under 15 and Under 18 grades.

Notable Alumni

Renmark Rovers has produced several footballers who went on to senior state and national level careers. Tony Modra, one of the most celebrated full-forwards in AFL history, played for the Rovers before going on to play 165 AFL games for the Adelaide Crows (1992-1998) and Fremantle Dockers (1999-2001), kicking 588 career goals and winning the Coleman Medal in 1997. Jack Agostino played 50 SANFL games for West Adelaide after progressing from the Rovers, returning to Renmark in 2021 to contribute his state-level experience. Other notable alumni include SANFL players Mark Mickan, Phil Morris, Bruce Lindner and Greg Dempsey.

Home Ground

The Rovers play their home games at Renmark Oval, situated in the heart of Renmark, South Australia. The ground serves as the primary sporting venue for the town and hosts all RFL home fixtures as well as junior and women's matches throughout the season.

Community and Programs

Renmark Rovers fields teams across all junior age groups from Auskick and Under 9 through to Under 18, as well as a senior A Grade and B Grade side. The club also competes in the Riverland Football Association Women's Competition, providing pathways for female players across the region. The Rovers are a central part of the social and sporting fabric of the Renmark Paringa Council area.

Renmark and the Riverland

Renmark sits on the Murray River, 254 kilometres northeast of Adelaide, and recorded a population of 4,705 in the 2021 Census. The broader Renmark Paringa Council area is home to approximately 10,173 residents. The Riverland is recognised as Australia's oldest irrigation settlement, with an economy centred on horticulture, viticulture and wine production. Football has been a constant in Renmark community life since the town's earliest years, with the Rovers serving as one of its longest-standing institutions.

The Rovers compete in the Riverland Football League and call Renmark Oval home. Visit the official Renmark Rovers website for fixtures, membership, and club news. • Premium Coated Paper (1.6 m high) printed with permanent, waterproof inks—won’t run or fade, even in wet weather.

    • Eco-friendly & Recyclable: All banners are fully recyclable when the celebration is over.

    • Durable weatherproof sports banners printed on heavy-duty coated paper - these banners are not made of crepe paper.

    🔧 Preparation & Run-Through Setup - Expert instructions for break-through milestone banners.

    • Rigging Your Banner

      • Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.

      • This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.

    • Creating the Break-Through Slits

      • Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

      • Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.

    💡 Tips & Tricks

    • Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.

    • Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
