Killarney Vale Bombers Banners - Central Coast AFL, Done Proud
Since 1978, the Killarney Vale Australian Football Club has been at the heart of Australian rules football on the NSW Central Coast, and FootyBanners.com is proud to help the Bombers celebrate every big milestone with a custom banner to match.
Simple to Order
Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner options and provide the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone (for example, Dan Fowler, #7, 150 Games). Banners use permanent inks on heavy-duty paper designed for a warm NSW coastal afternoon at the ground.
Two Players, One Banner
When two Bombers players share a milestone on the same match day, our Two Player banner gives them both equal billing in one great design. Provide both players' names and guernsey numbers and we'll take it from there.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Celebrating 3 to 6 players at once? Our Team Banner option brings the whole group together in one powerful design. Set a top-line message like "Bomb On Bombers!" and give your squad a run-through that the whole club will be talking about.
Wall Keepsake Banners
Available in Small, Medium, and Large, our Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks. A great keepsake for the Bombers clubrooms or a proud display in a supporter's home.
Grand Final Banners
When the Bombers are playing for the flag, back them with a Grand Final banner in 4.5m or 5.5m. Top and bottom text is fully customised for Killarney Vale Australian Football Club. Contact us early for design and wording support.
About Killarney Vale Australian Football Club (Bombers)
Origins and Founding
The Killarney Vale Australian Football Club, known as the Bombers, was founded in 1978, making it one of the founding clubs in Australian rules football on the New South Wales Central Coast. The club joined the Central Coast Australian Football League (CCAFL) in its inaugural year and played its first season that same year. Based at Adelaide Street Oval in Killarney Vale, the Bombers have been a cornerstone of community football in the region for over four decades.
Club History
The Bombers claimed six CCAFL premierships during the league's active years from 1981 to 1998 (winning in 1981, 1982, 1986, 1987, 1997, and 1998), making them one of the most successful clubs in Central Coast history. A notable moment in club history came in 1984 when Killarney Vale split to help establish the Bateau Bay club. When the CCAFL merged with the Newcastle AFL in 2000 to form the Black Diamond AFL (now the AFL Hunter Central Coast), the Bombers continued to compete at the highest level, claiming the Black Diamond Cup in 2007 and 2022. The club's women's program has also been outstanding, winning back-to-back women's premiers in 2024 and 2025.
Home Ground
The Bombers call Adelaide Street Oval in Killarney Vale home, a ground the club has occupied since its founding in 1978. The oval serves as the central hub for all of the club's senior men's, women's, and junior teams. It is located within a network of sporting facilities serving the broader Killarney Vale and Tuggerah Lakes community.
Community and Programs
Killarney Vale AFC fields teams across all grades of the AFL Hunter Central Coast competition, including men's premier grade, reserves, shield, and women's competitions. The club's strong women's program has grown substantially since its inception, with the team reaching consecutive women's grand finals in recent years. The Bombers also support junior football pathways, connecting young players from across the Central Coast to the senior club.
Killarney Vale
Killarney Vale is a suburb of the Central Coast region of New South Wales, located approximately 101 kilometres north-east of Sydney. With a population of 7,491 at the 2021 census, the suburb sits within the Central Coast Council local government area. The suburb was named after the town of Killarney in Ireland, and is bordered by Tumbi Umbi, Long Jetty, and Bateau Bay. The area is part of the popular Tuggerah Lakes coastal district, known for its relaxed lifestyle and outdoor amenity.

-
-
Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
