Simple to Order
Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner options, each made with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper. Simply provide the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone and we will handle the rest. Perfect for a crisp Macedon Ranges morning at the Tigers' home ground.
Two Players, One Banner
When two Tigers hit the same milestone in the same match, our Two Player banner is the perfect way to celebrate them both on one quality piece. Supply both names and guernsey numbers and we will create something worthy of the occasion.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Celebrate three to six players at once with our Team Banner option. A top-line message like "Lancefield Tigers - Hunt as One!" brings the whole squad together for an end-of-season celebration the club will always remember.

About Lancefield Football Netball Club
Origins and Founding
The Lancefield Football Netball Club, nicknamed the Tigers, was formed in 1873, making it one of the oldest football clubs in Victoria. One of its earliest recorded matches was against Kyneton in July 1879. In 1890, Lancefield played alongside Riddell's Creek in a match against Footscray, demonstrating the club's early involvement in regional competition. The Tigers competed in various district associations through the late 19th and early 20th centuries, including the Romsey/Lancefield Football Association, the Kilmore Football Association, and the Central Dalhousie Football Association, before joining the Riddell District Football Association in 1920 - where the club has competed ever since.
Club History
The Lancefield Tigers have won 16 premierships across their long history, including titles in the Riddell District Football League in 1923, 1924, 1932, 1946, 1949, 1952, 1958, 1966, 1995, 1996, 2004, and 2009. Their back-to-back premierships in 1995 and 1996 were followed by further flags in 2004 and 2009 in the modern era. The club has produced players who reached VFL level, including Frank Caine and Harvey Gibson to Carlton, Jack McCormack to Richmond, and Alexander "Ike" Johnston to Carlton. Long-serving club members Tom Waters and Ray Russell are among the Tigers' Bowen Medal (RDFNL best and fairest) winners. A comprehensive club history book, covering the period from 1873 to 2023, was published in 2023 to mark the club's 150th anniversary.
Home Ground
The Tigers play at Lancefield Park in Lancefield, Victoria, which has a capacity of approximately 5,000 spectators. The ground has been the club's home for many decades and is centrally located in the township of Lancefield. The facility serves both the football and netball programs and is the focal point for community sporting activity in the town.
Community and Programs
The Lancefield Football Netball Club operates both football and netball programs for seniors, juniors, and netball teams across multiple grades. The club is a cornerstone of community life in Lancefield and the surrounding rural catchment area, with families from across the Macedon Ranges and Kilmore corridor forming the club's membership base. The Tigers' 150-year history represents one of the longest continuous traditions of community football in regional Victoria.
Lancefield
Lancefield is a small rural township in the Macedon Ranges Shire of Victoria, situated approximately 61 kilometres north of Melbourne. The town had a population of approximately 1,200 residents at the 2021 census and is surrounded by farming and grazing country in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range. The Lancefield area is historically significant as one of the early gold rush era settlements in north-central Victoria, with a strong community sporting tradition that has run unbroken since the 1870s.

-
Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
