Our banners are printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty, weatherproof paper ready for a warm Sydney afternoon out at the ground. Durable, bold, and made to last long after the final whistle.
Two Players, One Banner
Got two Jets legends to celebrate at once? Our Two Player Banner combines both milestones on a single banner - just provide both names, guernsey numbers, and what they're being recognised for. Double the pride, one great banner.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Bring the whole squad together with a Team Banner featuring 3 to 6 players. Set a top-line message like "Minchinbury Jets - Flying High in the West" and give your team something memorable to celebrate together. Perfect for season milestones and finals campaigns.

Available in Small, Medium, and Large, our Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks - ideal for the clubrooms, the shed, or the games room. A lasting reminder of what the Jets mean to you.

About Minchinbury Jets Rugby Football Club
Origins and Founding
The Minchinbury Jets Junior Rugby League Club (JRLC) was founded in 1994 by local advocate Ray Sloss, who established the club to provide structured rugby league opportunities for the Minchinbury community in Sydney's western suburbs. The Jets became part of the Penrith and Districts Junior Rugby League (PDJRL) from the outset - a competition that administers junior rugby league across Western Sydney and serves as a key feeder system for the professional Penrith Panthers NRL club. The Jets joined the district alongside several other new clubs formed in the 1990s to serve Western Sydney's rapidly growing suburbs.
Club History
Since their foundation in 1994, the Minchinbury Jets have grown into one of the most active junior rugby league clubs in the Penrith district. The club operates across multiple age groups, giving local boys and girls their introduction to rugby league from the youngest ages through to under-18 competition. The Jets have been affiliated with the PDJRL throughout their history, competing against clubs including the Glenmore Park Brumbies, Quakers Hill Destroyers, North West Magpies, and other long-standing district clubs. Over three decades, the Jets have established themselves as a community institution in Minchinbury and the wider Blacktown area.
Home Ground
The Minchinbury Jets play and train at Town Centre Reserve on Ralph Place in Minchinbury. The ground serves as the club's base for training sessions, home games, and social activities. Town Centre Reserve is centrally located in the Minchinbury area and provides facilities for the junior teams and their families throughout the rugby league season, which typically runs from March through to August.
Community and Programs
The Minchinbury Jets JRLC runs a comprehensive junior rugby league program for players aged from the under-6 level through to under-18, providing a pathway into the game within the PDJRL framework. The club is volunteer-run and relies on the commitment of parents, coaches, and local sponsors to keep the program operating year-round. As a junior-only club, the Jets' primary mission is player development and community engagement, instilling the values of teamwork, respect, and commitment that are central to junior rugby league in New South Wales.
Minchinbury
Minchinbury is a suburb approximately 38 kilometres west of Sydney's CBD, within the City of Blacktown. It recorded a population of 5,778 at the 2021 census. The suburb is positioned between Mount Druitt and Rooty Hill and was developed primarily in the 1980s and 1990s as part of Western Sydney's residential expansion. Minchinbury is bordered by the Great Western Highway and the M7 motorway, and residents predominantly have strong ties to the broader Mount Druitt and Blacktown communities.
The Minchinbury Jets JRLC compete in the Penrith and Districts Junior Rugby League and call Town Centre Reserve home. Follow the club on Facebook or find them on Instagram.

-
Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
