From a player's debut to their 200th game, FootyBanners.com makes it simple to create a professional custom banner for any South West Sydney Blues celebration. Whatever the milestone, the Blues deserve to mark it in style.

Simple to Order

Our Single Player banners are designed for individual milestone moments. Just provide the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and the milestone being celebrated. Printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper, your Blues banner is built to last through any Sydney afternoon at Bob Prenter Reserve.

Two Players, One Banner

When two Blues players hit the same milestone in the same game, our Two Player banner lets you honour them both together. Simply provide both players' names and guernsey numbers for a quality banner that celebrates the occasion properly.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

Celebrating a group of 3 to 6 Blues players? Our Team Banner brings them all together on one banner. A bold top-line message like "Up the Blues" or "Blues Premiers" leads the way, with every player's name and number proudly displayed. The ideal way to celebrate a big South West Sydney moment.

Wall Keepsake Banners

Available in Small, Medium, and Large, our Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks. Hang them in the Blues clubrooms, a supporter's garage, or a games room and keep the memories alive long after the final siren.

About South West Sydney Blues Australian Football Club

Origins and Founding

The South West Sydney Blues Australian Football Club was formed in 2022 through the merger of two established clubs: the Campbelltown Blues and the South West Sydney Magpies. The Campbelltown Blues had competed in AFL Sydney competitions since the 1980s, while the South West Sydney Magpies themselves had roots going back further in the Macarthur and Liverpool corridor. In December 2021, AFL Sydney announced the formal amalgamation, and the newly unified club debuted in the 2022 season as the South West Sydney Blues, competing in AFL Sydney.

Club History

The Blues have grown rapidly as a representative club for the south-west Sydney and Macarthur regions. The merger brought together the player base, volunteers, and supporter networks of both predecessor clubs, providing a stronger pathway for local talent to advance through the AFL development system. The club competes across multiple AFL Sydney grades, including senior men's, women's, and junior competitions. Their 2022 debut season was noted as a success, with the consolidated club fielding competitive sides across multiple divisions from the outset.

Home Ground

The Blues use Bob Prenter Reserve and Rosedale Oval as their primary training and match venues. Bob Prenter Reserve underwent significant development in recent years, becoming a modern community hub for local football. Rosedale Oval is used as a key match-day venue for senior games. Both grounds are located within the Campbelltown and south-western Sydney corridor. In 2026, the club hosted their opening round at these upgraded facilities, showcasing the investment made in community football infrastructure across the region.

Community and Programs

The South West Sydney Blues place community engagement at the heart of their operations, with a stated mission to serve the South West Sydney and Macarthur regions. The club operates junior programs, women's football, and pathways for players aiming to progress through the AFL system toward elite competition. The merged club has built on the community connections of both its predecessor clubs, maintaining relationships with local schools, councils, and sporting organisations. The club actively recruits from junior associations across the Campbelltown, Liverpool, and Macarthur areas.

South West Sydney and Campbelltown

Campbelltown is the major urban centre of the Macarthur region, located approximately 53 kilometres south-west of the Sydney CBD in outer south-western Sydney. The Campbelltown City local government area has an estimated population of over 191,000 people (2025 estimate), making it one of New South Wales' largest and fastest-growing local government areas. The broader south-west Sydney corridor encompasses suburbs stretching from Liverpool through to the Southern Highlands, representing one of the most significant growth corridors in Australia.

The Blues compete in AFL Sydney and call Bob Prenter Reserve and Rosedale Oval home. Visit the club's official website at southwestsydneyblues.com.au, follow them on Facebook, or on Instagram.

  • Footy Banner Information

Material:  All Footy Banners are printed on 1.6 Metre high coated paper using permanent inks which will not run, even if they get wet.  They are fully recyclable.

How to Use:  We recommend taping broomsticks or plastic pipe to the ends of the banner to hold it flat whilst the player runs through it.  If you cut vertical slits in the banner in the centre, it creates a weak spot where it will break and look best when run through.  There are instructions and images for how to cut these in the FAQ section below.

On a windy day, cut smaller vertical slits in the Footy Banner so if the wind catches it, it doesn't rip too soon!  This is why we do not pre-cut them, and also so you can get photographs with your intact banner when it looks at it's best.

Tip: Some players choose to only cut one weak spot in their banner so it can be saved and displayed later by taping it back together on the back.

Pro Tip:  Cut the weak spot to one side of the mascot or team logo so it stays intact as well!

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
