Penrith Giants Girls Football Banners - Celebrating Every Giant Step

From a young player's first milestone to an end-of-season grand final, FootyBanners.com creates custom banners for the Penrith Giants Girls that make every moment feel exactly as big as it should. Let's help your Giants celebrate in style.

Simple to Order

Order a Single Player Banner by providing the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Zoe Mitchell, #14, 50 Games. Our banners are printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty, weatherproof paper ready to handle a warm Sydney afternoon out west at the ground. Built to last - just like the Giants spirit.

Two Players, One Banner

Celebrating two Giants at once? Our Two Player Banner lets you honour both players on a single premium banner - just provide both names, guernsey numbers, and the milestone they're reaching. Double the occasion, one great banner.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

Bring the whole squad together with a Team Banner featuring 3 to 6 players. Set a top-line message like "Penrith Giants Girls - Rising Stars of the West" and give your team something truly special to run through. A perfect way to celebrate any grand final or season presentation.

Wall Keepsake Banners

Available in Small, Medium, and Large, our Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks - ideal for a bedroom, the clubrooms, or the family games room. A lasting keepsake for every proud Penrith Giant.

Grand Final Banners

Available in 4.5m and 5.5m sizes with fully customised top and bottom text. Contact us early for personalised design advice when the Penrith Giants Girls are heading into the finals series.

About Penrith Giants Girls Football

Origins and Founding

The Penrith Giants Junior AFL Club was established in 1981 and is one of Western Sydney's longest-running junior Australian rules football clubs. The club is based at Greygums Oval in Cranebrook, NSW, and competes in the AFL Sydney junior competition administered by AFL NSW/ACT. The Giants' girls football program provides dedicated teams for girls across multiple age groups, reflecting the rapid growth of women's and girls AFL in Western Sydney over recent years.

Club History

The Penrith Giants have been a fixture of junior AFL in Western Sydney since 1981, building a reputation as a family-friendly, community-first club. The girls program has grown significantly as part of the national expansion of girls and women's football. The Giants' girls teams compete within the AFL Sydney Junior competition structure, providing pathways for young female players in the Penrith district. The club has built a strong community identity separate from (but inspired by) the AFL-listed GWS Giants, and serves as the primary grassroots football club for the Penrith region.

Home Ground

The Penrith Giants play all their home games at Greygums Oval, Cranebrook NSW - a picturesque community ground north of Penrith CBD that serves as the hub for the club's football programs. The oval accommodates training sessions, junior matches and Auskick sessions, and provides the backdrop for the club's community events throughout the AFL season.

Community and Programs

The Penrith Giants offer football for girls across multiple age groups within the AFL Sydney Junior competition. Beyond girls football, the club runs AusKick for children aged 5 to 8, a boys junior program, and the award-winning Kickability Program for children on the Autism Spectrum or with intellectual, communication or attention disabilities. Community initiatives include an annual MND fundraiser, NAIDOC Week events and a Big Freeze fundraiser. The club has over 1,200 Facebook followers and around 320 Instagram followers under the handle @penrith_giants.

Penrith and Cranebrook, Western Sydney

Cranebrook is a residential suburb in the Penrith City Council area of Greater Western Sydney, recording a population of 15,779 at the 2021 census. It sits north of Penrith CBD, which itself serves as a major regional hub for western Sydney with the Penrith City Council area home to over 217,000 residents. Penrith is located approximately 55 kilometres west of Sydney's CBD and is known as the gateway to the Blue Mountains, with the Nepean River running through the district. The area has seen strong residential and population growth in recent decades.

The Giants girls teams compete in the AFL Sydney Junior competition and call Greygums Oval, Cranebrook home. Visit the club website for more information, follow them on Facebook, and follow them on Instagram for news and match day updates.

    📄 Material & Construction

    • Premium Coated Paper (1.6 m high) printed with permanent, waterproof inks—won’t run or fade, even in wet weather.

    • Eco-friendly & Recyclable: All banners are fully recyclable when the celebration is over.

    • Durable weatherproof sports banners printed on heavy-duty coated paper - these banners are not made of crepe paper.

    🔧 Preparation & Run-Through Setup - Expert instructions for break-through milestone banners.

    • Rigging Your Banner

      • Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.

      • This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.

    • Creating the Break-Through Slits

      • Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

      • Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.

    💡 Tips & Tricks

    • Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.

    • Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
