Penrith Giants Junior Banners - Celebrate Your Giant Moment
When a junior player reaches a milestone worth remembering, FootyBanners.com is where families and clubs turn to make it official. Order a fully custom banner for your Penrith Giants Junior player and give that milestone the recognition it deserves.
Simple to Order
Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team or Grand Final banner styles. Just provide the player's full name, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Sam Jones, #7, 100 Games. Banners are printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper, so they'll hold up even on a warm Sydney afternoon out at the ground.
Two Players, One Banner
If two Giants are hitting the same milestone together, our Two Player banner is the way to go. Both players' names and guernsey numbers are featured on a single quality banner built to last.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Got 3 to 6 players to celebrate at once? The Team Banner option lets you list all their names and milestone details on one great banner. A top-line message like "Go Giants!" ties it all together and gets the crowd fired up on game day.
Wall Keepsake Banners
Available in Small, Medium and Large, our Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks. They look fantastic on clubroom walls, in the garage, or in the games room - a lasting tribute to every Giants milestone.
Grand Final Banners
Available in 4.5m and 5.5m, our Grand Final banners feature fully customised top and bottom text. If you're planning a finals run for the Penrith Giants Junior AFL Club, get in touch and we'll help you design something special.
About Penrith Giants Junior AFL Club
Origins and Founding
The Penrith Giants Junior AFL Club was established in 1981 and is one of Western Sydney's longest-serving community Australian rules football clubs. Based at Greygums Oval in Cranebrook, NSW, the Giants compete in the AFL Sydney Junior competition administered by AFL NSW/ACT. The club was founded to bring junior AFL to the Penrith district and has provided football pathways for generations of Western Sydney families over more than four decades.
Club History
Since their foundation in 1981, the Penrith Giants have built a proud and consistent presence in Sydney junior AFL. The club has expanded to include boys junior teams across all age groups, girls teams, AusKick and inclusive football programs. The Giants are known for their family-friendly culture, strong community involvement, and commitment to developing AFL skills in an area of Sydney that has traditionally been rugby league territory. The club's name draws inspiration from the AFL's GWS Giants (who represent Greater Western Sydney at the elite level), and the Giants maintain a visible identity in the Penrith region through their distinctive playing strip and community events. The club has fielded teams continuously since 1981, building strong local relationships across the Penrith and Cranebrook communities.
Home Ground
The Penrith Giants play their home games at Greygums Oval, Cranebrook NSW. The oval is situated north of Penrith CBD within a residential area surrounded by family homes and parklands. The ground serves as the venue for all of the club's football activities, including junior matches, training sessions, and the AusKick and Kickability programs. The oval's location makes it accessible to families across the broader Penrith and Blue Mountains foothills communities.
Community and Programs
The Penrith Giants offer a comprehensive junior AFL program including AusKick for children aged 5 to 8, boys and girls junior football teams at multiple age levels, and the award-winning Kickability Program for children on the Autism Spectrum or with intellectual, communication or attention disabilities. The club runs notable community events including an annual MND (Motor Neurone Disease) fundraiser, NAIDOC Week activities and a Big Freeze fundraiser. The Giants have over 1,200 Facebook followers and approximately 320 Instagram followers under @penrith_giants.
Penrith, Western Sydney

The Penrith region is known for the Nepean River, Panthers Stadium, and as the gateway to the Blue Mountains World Heritage Area.

-
Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
