Simple to Order

Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Cup Final banner styles. Just give us the player's name, jersey number, and the milestone - for example, Chris Martin, #5, 100 Games. Printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper, your Whales banner will hold up through any blazing Sydney afternoon on the pitch.

Two Players, One Banner

When two Whales players reach the same milestone in the same game, our Two Player banner lets you celebrate both at once. Supply both names, jersey numbers, and the shared milestone, and we'll produce a quality banner that does justice to both players.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

Celebrating a squad of players? Our Team Banner option fits 3-6 players on a single banner. Set the top-line message to something like "Go Whales!" and send your players onto the pitch in style. Every great football club deserves a great banner.

Wall Keepsake Banners

Available in Small, Medium, and Large, our Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks. They look great in a clubroom, garage, or home display - a lasting reminder of a Whales milestone worth remembering.

Cup Final Banners

Our Cup Final banners come in 4.5m and 5.5m sizes, with fully customised top and bottom text. If the Mosman Whales Football Club is heading into finals time, contact us for expert design advice and we'll make sure your banner is ready for the big match.

About Mosman Whales Football Club

Origins and Founding

The Mosman Whales Football Club - officially known as Mosman Football Club - was founded in 1967 and has grown into the largest community sporting club in Mosman, serving more than 1,900 female and male players. The club celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2017 and continues to be a cornerstone of community sport on Sydney's prestigious Lower North Shore. Playing association football (soccer), Mosman FC competes in the Manly Warringah Football Association (MWFA), which has been the governing body for football in the Manly Warringah area since 1947.

Club History

Since 1967, Mosman FC has expanded from a small local club into a thriving multi-team organisation fielding sides across virtually every age group and competition level. The club competes in the MWFA's Men's Premier League, All Age men's and women's competitions, Under 21s, and over-35s and over-45s competitions. The club's history page documents decades of growth, with the club earning the 2025 MWFA championship. Mosman FC runs FFA-accredited coaching programs and prides itself on developing players from grassroots level to senior competition.

Home Ground

Mosman FC plays its home games and summer 5-a-side competition at Georges Heights Oval, located at Georges Heights in Mosman. Set within the historic Georges Heights military reserve on Sydney Harbour, the ground is one of the most scenic football venues in Australia, with harbourside views making match days a memorable experience for players and spectators alike. The club also hosts a popular summer 5-a-side competition at the same venue from October through February.

Community and Programs

Mosman FC offers football for all ages from 5 to 60+. The MiniRoos program (Under 6 to Under 11) introduces young players to the game on smaller pitches, while the Youth program (Under 12 to Under 18) develops skills through full-sided competition. Skills School sessions run through school terms with FFA-qualified coaches. The club also runs holiday camps, and its inclusive culture welcomes players of all abilities and backgrounds.

Mosman

Mosman is a prestigious harbourside suburb on Sydney's Lower North Shore, located approximately 10 kilometres north of the CBD and bordered by Sydney Harbour, Middle Harbour, and the Taronga Zoo bushland reserve. Known for its federation-style homes, boutique shopping village on Military Road, and some of Sydney's best harbour views, Mosman is home to a diverse and active community sporting culture. The suburb's waterfront location and family-friendly character make it a natural home for a club like the Whales.

The Whales compete in the Manly Warringah Football Association and call Georges Heights Oval in Mosman home. Visit the club website for registration, fixtures, and news, follow them on Facebook, and follow them on Instagram for match day updates and club announcements.

    📄 Material & Construction

    • Premium Coated Paper (1.6 m high) printed with permanent, waterproof inks—won’t run or fade, even in wet weather.

    • Eco-friendly & Recyclable: All banners are fully recyclable when the celebration is over.

    • Durable weatherproof sports banners printed on heavy-duty coated paper - these banners are not made of crepe paper.

    🔧 Preparation & Run-Through Setup - Expert instructions for break-through milestone banners.

    • Rigging Your Banner

      • Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.

      • This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.

    • Creating the Break-Through Slits

      • Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

      • Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.

    💡 Tips & Tricks

    • Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.

    • Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
