Pambula Panthers Banners - South Coast AFL, Celebrated in Style

Whether it's a milestone game, a standout season, or the Panthers pushing for another flag, FootyBanners.com creates fully custom Panthers banners that capture the spirit of this proud Bega Valley community club.

Simple to Order

Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner options and provide the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone (for example, Codie Park, #14, 100 Games). Banners are produced with permanent inks on heavy-duty paper that stands up to a warm NSW South Coast afternoon at the Pambula Sporting Complex.

Two Players, One Banner

When two Panthers players hit the same milestone in the same match, our Two Player banner is the ideal way to recognise them both. Provide both players' names and guernsey numbers and we'll create a design that honours them both.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

For groups of 3 to 6 players celebrating together, our Team Banner option pulls everyone into one powerful design. Set a top-line message like "Pounce Panthers!" and send the squad out with something to be proud of.

Wall Keepsake Banners

Available in Small, Medium, and Large, our Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks. A brilliant keepsake for the Panthers clubrooms at the Pambula Sporting Complex or a home display celebrating a great career.

Grand Final Banners

When the Panthers are in the hunt for the flag, go all in with a Grand Final banner in 4.5m or 5.5m. Top and bottom text is fully customised for Pambula Panthers Football Club. Contact us for wording and design support before the big day.

About Pambula Panthers Football Club

Origins and Founding

The Pambula Panthers Football Club was formed in 1983 following an inaugural meeting called by Alf King at the Royal Willows Hotel in Pambula - a venue that continues as one of the club's major sponsors. The Panthers were among the foundation clubs of the AFL Sapphire Coast competition, alongside the Merimbula Diggers, Wyndham, and Wolumla. The 1983 season began with informal social games that evolved into a lightning premiership that year, with Pambula winning the grand final against Merimbula by a single point - a contest that captured the competitive spirit the Panthers have carried ever since.

Club History

In 1984, the AFL Sapphire Coast established its formal committee and launched its official competition, with the Panthers claiming the inaugural premiership that year. After that early success, the club returned to a grand final in 2005, marking another milestone in its competitive history. The Panthers are one of the most recognised clubs on the Sapphire Coast, and with more than 200 enrolled players and supporters, they play a significant role in the sporting fabric of the far south coast. As of 2024, the club recruited a senior women's side, reflecting the broader growth of women's football in regional New South Wales. Pioneers who helped build the AFL Sapphire Coast in its early years were inducted into the inaugural NSW Australian Football Hall of Fame in 2024, recognising the grassroots efforts from which clubs like the Panthers emerged.

Home Ground

The Pambula Panthers call the Pambula Sports Complex home. The complex serves as the central hub for the club's training, match days, and social functions, situated in the heart of Pambula township. The Sapphire Coast region has seen ongoing investment in sporting infrastructure over the four decades since the AFL Sapphire Coast's formation, including the development of the Berrambool Sporting Complex used by neighbouring clubs.

Community and Programs

The Panthers are built on a culture of inclusivity, running training sessions that welcome players of all backgrounds and experience levels. The club actively fundraises for regional causes and has long been a community gathering point for Pambula and surrounding areas. The launch of a senior women's team in 2024 marks a new chapter in the club's development, broadening its reach across the community and supporting the AFL's push to grow women's football in regional NSW.

Pambula

Pambula is a small town on the far south coast of New South Wales, located in Bega Valley Shire, approximately 454 kilometres south of Sydney and 15 kilometres north of Eden. With a population of around 1,627 (2021 urban centre estimate), Pambula is known for its coastal setting, proximity to Pambula Beach, and the estuary of the Pambula River. The area is part of the Sapphire Coast tourism region, drawing visitors for fishing, camping, and wildlife experiences along the New South Wales south coast.

The Panthers compete in the AFL Sapphire Coast and call the Pambula Sports Complex home. Visit the club at pambulapanthers.com.au and follow them on Facebook for fixtures, news, and season updates.

    🔧 Preparation & Run-Through Setup - Expert instructions for break-through milestone banners.

    • Rigging Your Banner

      • Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.

      • This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.

    • Creating the Break-Through Slits

      • Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

      • Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.

    💡 Tips & Tricks

    • Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.

    • Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
