Whether it's a milestone game or a big finals moment, FootyBanners.com creates custom banners that celebrate the Penguin Two Blues with real pride. Give your player a run-through that matches the occasion.

Simple to Order

We offer Single Player, Two Player, Team, and Grand Final banner options. To personalise your order, provide the player's name, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Jake Martin, #15, 100 Games. Printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper, your banner is built to hold up through a cold and blustery Tasmanian afternoon at the ground.

Two Players, One Banner

When two Blues reach the same milestone, a Two Player Banner is the perfect way to celebrate them both. Provide both names, guernsey numbers, and the shared milestone for a quality keepsake they will both cherish.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

Feature 3 to 6 players on a Team Banner and create a game day entrance the whole club will remember. A top-line message like "Go Two Blues!" or something personal to the team captures the spirit of Penguin football perfectly.

Wall Keepsake Banners

Our Wall Keepsake Banners are available in Small, Medium, and Large, printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks that stand the test of time. A Two Blues keepsake banner looks great in the clubrooms, the garage, or the family games room.

Grand Final Banners

Make grand final day at Penguin truly unforgettable with a 4.5m or 5.5m banner featuring fully customised top and bottom text for the Penguin Two Blues. Contact us for expert design advice.

About Penguin Two Blues

Origins and Founding

The Penguin Football Club, known as the Two Blues, was founded in 1890 in the town of Penguin on Tasmania's north-west coast. One of the oldest clubs in Tasmanian football, Penguin competed for many decades in the North West Football Union (NWFU) before transitioning to the North West Football League (NWFL). In 2025 the NWFL became one of three Premier Leagues in Tasmania, elevating the competition to the highest level of state football alongside the NTFA and SFL leagues.

Club History

The Two Blues have a proud premiership history, claiming five senior flags in the NWFU era, two NWFL Reserves premierships, and an Under 18/19s NWFL premiership. The club has produced an exceptional number of AFL-level players over its history, including Lenny Hayes and Stephen Milne (both of St Kilda), Brendan Fevola (Brisbane Lions and Carlton), Brad Sewell (Hawthorn), and Michael O'Loughlin (Sydney Swans). The club's capacity to develop elite talent from a small regional town underscores its strength as a football development pathway. In the 2024 NWFL season, the Two Blues finished fourth in the home-and-away rounds before reaching fifth after finals.

Home Ground

Penguin plays at Dial Park, having relocated from the Penguin Recreation Ground, which served as the club's home from 1891 through to 2017. Dial Park provides a modern venue for the club's home games and training programs. The ground hosts both senior and junior football throughout the NWFL season.

Community and Programs

The Penguin Football Club fields senior men's, women's, development men's, and colts teams, providing pathways for footballers across multiple age groups. The clubrooms at Dial Park are available for community hire, reflecting the club's role as a broader community facility for the Penguin region. The club has a strong volunteer and supporter base that has sustained it through more than 130 years of North West Tasmanian football.

Penguin

Penguin is a town on the north coast of Tasmania, located on the Bass Highway between Burnie and Ulverstone, within the Central Coast Council local government area. It had a population of 4,132 at the 2021 census. First settled in 1861 as a timber town and proclaimed in 1875, Penguin was named by botanist Ronald Campbell Gunn for the little penguin rookeries found along the coastline. The town remains known for its charming seaside character and the giant penguin statue that greets visitors at its main street.

The Penguin Two Blues compete in the North West Football League and call Dial Park home. Follow them on Facebook and Instagram.

    📄 Material & Construction

    • Premium Coated Paper (1.6 m high) printed with permanent, waterproof inks—won’t run or fade, even in wet weather.

    • Eco-friendly & Recyclable: All banners are fully recyclable when the celebration is over.

    • Durable weatherproof sports banners printed on heavy-duty coated paper - these banners are not made of crepe paper.

    🔧 Preparation & Run-Through Setup - Expert instructions for break-through milestone banners.

    • Rigging Your Banner

      • Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.

      • This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.

    • Creating the Break-Through Slits

      • Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

      • Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.

    💡 Tips & Tricks

    • Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.

    • Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
