South East Junior Giants Banners - Giant Moments for Junior Footy's Rising Stars

Junior football milestones deserve just as much recognition as any senior achievement. FootyBanners.com creates custom banners for the South East Junior Giants that families and clubs can cherish for years to come.

Simple to Order

Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banners. Simply provide the player's name, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Lachlan Grant, #9, 50 Games. Our banners are printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper that holds up through every South Australian match day, rain or shine.

Two Players, One Banner

When two South East Junior Giants reach the same milestone in the same match, celebrate both players together. Our Two Player banner features both names and guernsey numbers on a single quality keepsake that the whole club can enjoy.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

Three to six players, one great moment - our Team Banner option is perfect for junior clubs celebrating a group of Giants who've all hit their straps. Add a custom top-line message like "South East Junior Giants - Celebrating Our Finest" and round it out with a rallying tagline for the whole squad.

Wall Keepsake Banners

Available in Small, Medium, and Large, our Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks. Display them in the clubrooms, at home, or in a young Giant's bedroom as a proud reminder of their achievement.

Grand Final Banners

For South East Junior Giants' biggest day of the season, our 4.5m and 5.5m Grand Final banners are fully customisable with your choice of top and bottom text. Contact us for design advice so your run-through banner is everything the occasion calls for.

About South East Junior Football Club

Origins and Founding

The South East Junior Football Club (SEJFC), known as the Giants, traces its origins to 1977 when Maurice Hughes drove the establishment of junior football in the Sorell region of south-east Tasmania. Two local junior teams - including an A Grade Under 9 side - were formed in that year, laying the foundation for what would become one of south-east Tasmania's most established junior football clubs. The SEJFC competes in the Southern Tasmanian Junior Football League (STJFL), the premier junior competition for the greater Hobart region.

Club History

From its 1977 origins, the South East Junior FC has grown into a multi-age-group club fielding sides from Under 8 through to youth competition in both boys and girls football. The club has been an active participant in STJFL competition across decades, with home games at Pembroke Park in Sorell drawing players and families from across the Sorell municipality and the Tasman Peninsula. The club also fields teams in the AFL South East junior structure, which co-ordinates junior football across the south-east Tasmanian region for Under 8 to Under 12 age groups.

Home Ground

The Giants play their home games at Pembroke Park in Sorell, Tasmania. The venue serves as the central hub for both home games and youth training sessions, and is accessible from the Tasman Highway which connects Sorell to Hobart. Pembroke Park is a well-regarded community sporting ground that also hosts other sports and community events within the Sorell township.

Community and Programs

SEJFC operates an Auskick Centre for children aged 5 to 12, providing the entry point to junior football for the Sorell and south-east Tasmanian communities. The club fields separate boys and girls football programs across multiple age groups and maintains an active youth training program ahead of each season. In 2022, the SEJFC Giants and the Clarence Junior Football Club were jointly recognised in connection with broader community inclusion initiatives. The club actively recruits committee members, coaches, and support volunteers to maintain its programs across the region each season.

Sorell

Sorell is one of Tasmania's oldest towns, located approximately 25 kilometres north-east of Hobart on the Tasman Highway at the junction with the Arthur Highway. The Sorell local government area had a population of approximately 16,738 at the 2021 census, encompassing the town of Sorell and surrounding rural communities including Dodges Ferry, Lewisham, and Carlton. The town is known for its rich colonial history, strawberry-growing heritage, and its role as a gateway community to the Tasman Peninsula and Port Arthur historic site.

The Giants compete in the Southern Tasmanian Junior Football League and call Pembroke Park home. Follow the club on Facebook for fixture updates, results, and club news.

  • Footy Banner Information

All Footy Banners are printed on 1.6 Metre high coated paper using solvent inks which will not run, even if they get wet.

We recommend taping broomsticks to the ends of the banner to hold it flat whilst the player runs through it.  if you cut vertical slits in the banner in the centre, it creates a weak spot where it will break and look best when run through.

On a windy day, cut smaller vertical slits in the Footy Banner so if the wind catches it, it doesn't rip too soon!

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
