Ringwood Redbacks Banners - Celebrate Every Milestone at Jubilee Park

Whether it's a landmark game, a grand final run, or a hard-earned personal milestone, FootyBanners.com has you covered with fully custom banners for the Redbacks. From the first bounce to the final siren, there's no better way to honour your player than with a personalised banner.

Simple to Order

Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner styles. For player banners, just provide the name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Jamie Thompson, #7, 100 Games. Your banner is printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty, weatherproof paper, built to handle whatever a blustery Melbourne afternoon can throw at it.

Two Players, One Banner

Celebrating two players reaching the same milestone? Our Two Player Banner lets you honour both at once - just supply both names, guernsey numbers, and the shared achievement. A quality banner that makes for a great shared memory on and off the field.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

Got a group of 3 to 6 players hitting a milestone together? Choose our Team Banner option and create something truly special. Set a top-line message like "Redbacks - Legends of Jubilee Park" and let the whole crew celebrate as one. A great way to mark a season or a generation of players.

Wall Keepsake Banners

Available in Small, Medium, and Large sizes, our Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks - perfect for hanging in the clubrooms, garage, or games room. A lasting tribute any Redbacks fan will treasure for years to come.

Grand Final Banners

We produce Grand Final Banners in 4.5m and 5.5m sizes, fully customised with your top and bottom text. If you're unsure on the wording or layout for your Ringwood Football and Netball Club grand final banner, our team is happy to assist - just get in touch for design advice.

About Ringwood Redbacks

Origins and Founding

The Ringwood Football Club has roots stretching back to at least 1882, when organised football was first recorded in the district. The club was formally constituted in 1899, drawing on decades of local football culture in Melbourne's east. Originally based at East Ringwood Reserve, the club relocated to Ringwood Reserve in 1930 before settling permanently at Jubilee Park in 1959, where it has remained ever since. In 1962, Ringwood became one of the founding clubs of the Eastern District Football League, cementing its place at the heart of eastern suburban football.

Club History

The Redbacks have built one of the strongest premiership records in the Eastern Football Netball League (EFNL), winning 14 senior flags. Their golden eras include back-to-back premierships in 1923 and 1924, three consecutive flags in 1955, 1956, and 1957, and further titles in 1932, 1934, 1948, 1959, 1962, 1972, 1976, 1978, and 2005. The club has also produced a remarkable number of VFL and AFL players, including Kane Johnson (Adelaide and Richmond), Haydn Robins (Melbourne and Richmond), Paul Considine (Hawthorn), Matthew Banks (Essendon), and Mark Bolton (Essendon). Full club history is documented on the Ringwood Football Club Wikipedia page.

Home Ground

Jubilee Park on Greenwood Avenue, Ringwood, has been the Redbacks' home since 1959. The ground hosts senior men's and reserves matches, the club's women's sides, under 19s, and junior grades, as well as the club's netball program, making it a genuine all-day community venue at the heart of Ringwood's sporting life.

Community and Programs

The Ringwood Football and Netball Club fields teams across men's, women's, and junior grades, along with an Auskick program for the youngest players. The club is proud of its women's football program, which has grown significantly within the EFNL in recent seasons. Volunteers and families from across the City of Maroondah contribute to one of Melbourne's most community-minded football clubs.

Ringwood

Ringwood is a major commercial and residential hub in Melbourne's east, located approximately 29 kilometres from the CBD within the City of Maroondah. Home to Eastland Shopping Centre and well-served by the Belgrave and Lilydale train lines, Ringwood has a strong community sporting culture that the Redbacks have been part of since 1899. The Redbacks compete in the Eastern Football Netball League and call Jubilee Park their home. Visit the club website for fixtures and news, follow them on Facebook, and follow them on Instagram for match day updates.

    • Rigging Your Banner

      • Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.

      • This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.

    • Creating the Break-Through Slits

      • Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

      • Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.

    💡 Tips & Tricks

    • Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.

    • Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
