Bacchus Marsh Cobras Banners - Celebrate Every Cobras Milestone
When a Bacchus Marsh Cobra hits a milestone worth remembering, FootyBanners.com is ready to mark the occasion with a custom banner. We create quality footy banners for Cobras fans across the Bacchus Marsh region and beyond.
Simple to Order
Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banners. For a Single Player banner, simply provide the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and the milestone being celebrated. All banners are printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty paper, built to handle a cold Melbourne afternoon on the sideline.
Two Players, One Banner
Two Cobras reaching the same milestone together? Our Two Player banner lets you honour them both on one banner. Just provide both names and guernsey numbers for a quality banner that celebrates the shared moment.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Our Team Banner accommodates 3 to 6 players celebrating together. Try a top-line message like "Strike Force Cobras!" and add a closing tagline that captures the fighting spirit of Bacchus Marsh football. Great for team milestones and end-of-season gatherings.
Wall Keepsake Banners
Available in Small, Medium, and Large, Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks. Hang them in the Cobras clubrooms, a garage, or a games room for a lasting reminder of great football seasons.
Grand Final Banners
Available in 4.5m and 5.5m sizes, Grand Final Banners can be fully customised with your own top and bottom text. Contact us for design advice and make the Bacchus Marsh Cobras Football Club's biggest day unforgettable.
About Bacchus Marsh Football and Netball Club
Origins and Founding
The Bacchus Marsh Football Club, known as the Cobras, is one of Victoria's oldest country football clubs. An attempt to form a football club in the town was made as early as May 1874, though it was the club's formal establishment in April 1881 that marked its official founding. From the early 1900s the club wore red and blue horizontal stripe guernseys, and in 1923 the club's identity was formalised under the "Two Blues" branding. The Maddingley Football Club, formed in April 1909 as a separate club, eventually merged with Bacchus Marsh to create the combined entity that competes today.
Club History
Bacchus Marsh first competed in official football in 1911 and played in the Ballarat Football League in 1929 and 1930. The club has accumulated 14 premierships across its history in senior men's competition, with the Maddingley entity contributing a further 8. The modern club achieved significant success with a senior premiership in 2016 in the Ballarat Football League (BFNL) and reached the grand final in 2017. The club competes in the Ballarat Football League, which is part of the Victorian Country Football League system, and fields teams across men's, women's, and netball competitions.
Home Ground
The Cobras play their home games at Maddingley Park, located on the corner of Grant and Station Streets in Bacchus Marsh. The ground, affectionately known as The Snake Pit, has a capacity of 7,500 and sits south of the town centre. Maddingley Park has hosted country football in the Bacchus Marsh area for generations and remains one of the iconic venues in BFNL competition.
Community and Programs
Bacchus Marsh Football and Netball Club fields senior men's, women's, and netball teams in BFNL competition, as well as junior and youth football programs for the growing Bacchus Marsh and Maddingley communities. The club has a proud history of developing players who go on to compete at VFL, SANFL, and other state league levels. Community engagement, social events, and volunteer programs are central to the club's identity as an anchor institution in the Moorabool Valley.
Bacchus Marsh
Bacchus Marsh is a historic town in the Shire of Moorabool, Victoria, located approximately 50 kilometres west-northwest of Melbourne's CBD. The township and surrounding area, which includes Darley and Maddingley, had an urban population of approximately 24,700 at the 2021 census and continues to grow as a commuter town for Melbourne. The fertile Lerderderg and Werribee river valleys that frame the town are known for orchards, vineyards, and market gardens, giving Bacchus Marsh its distinctive agricultural character.
The Cobras compete in the Ballarat Football League and call Maddingley Park, Bacchus Marsh home. Follow them on Facebook for news and match day updates.

-
-
Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
