To personalise your order, provide the player's name, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Ella Cooper, #8, 25 Games. Printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper, your banner is made to hold up through a blustery Melbourne winter morning in the Dandenong Ranges.
Two Players, One Banner
Got two Belgrave girls hitting the same milestone? A Two Player Banner lets you celebrate them both on one standout keepsake. Provide both names, guernsey numbers, and the shared milestone for a banner they will both cherish.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Feature 3 to 6 players on a Team Banner and give the whole team a run-through they will be talking about for years. A top-line message like "Go Belgrave Girls!" captures the spirit and passion that makes this program so special.
Wall Keepsake Banners
Our Wall Keepsake Banners come in Small, Medium, and Large, printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks built to last. A Belgrave Junior Girls keepsake banner is a brilliant addition to the bedroom wall, the clubrooms, or the family games room.

About Belgrave Junior Girls Football
Origins and Founding
The Belgrave Junior Football Club was established as a stand-alone entity in 1972, growing out of a long community sporting tradition in the hills of Melbourne's east. The club is affiliated with the Eastern Football Netball League (EFNL), which governs junior competition across eastern metropolitan Melbourne. The girls' football program has developed significantly in step with the rapid national growth of women's and girls' Australian rules football, particularly following the launch of the AFLW competition in 2017.
Club History
Belgrave Junior FC has grown from a small community club in 1972 into a multi-team program covering a full range of age groups. The girls' program operates across multiple age levels, providing structured competition and development opportunities within the EFNL junior competition structure. The club fields boys' and girls' teams from under-8 through to under-17.5, and the growth in female participation has been a defining feature of the club's development over the past decade. The Belgrave Junior Football Club plays under the Magpies name, consistent with the affiliated senior Belgrave Football Club.
Home Ground
The club trains and plays at Belgrave Reserve on Recreation Road in Belgrave. The ground sits in the Dandenong Ranges foothills and is shared with other community sporting groups. The reserve has long been the social and training base for the Belgrave junior football community, with club facilities supporting year-round junior development programs.
Community and Programs
The Belgrave Junior Football Club is committed to developing the girls' game at grassroots level, providing girls across the Belgrave and Upper Dandenong Ranges area with a welcoming and structured pathway into Australian rules football. Registration is open each year, and the club also runs Auskick introductory sessions for the youngest age groups. The club places a strong emphasis on child safety, inclusivity, and positive sporting values, acknowledging the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation as the traditional custodians of the land on which they play.
Belgrave
Belgrave is a suburb located approximately 35 kilometres east of Melbourne's CBD, in the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges within the Shire of Yarra Ranges. It recorded a population of 3,894 at the 2021 census. The suburb is the southern terminus of Puffing Billy Railway, a heritage steam railway that runs to Gembrook, and is surrounded by national park and bushland that gives the area a distinct character. Belgrave has a well-established community sporting culture, with the football club one of the longest-serving institutions in the area.
The Belgrave Junior Girls' Football program competes in the EFNL and calls Belgrave Reserve home. For more information, visit the Belgrave JFC website, follow the club on Facebook, or find them on Instagram.

-
Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
