St Albans Football Banners - Support Your Club

Whether it's a milestone game, a big achievement, or a grand final run, FootyBanners.com makes it easy to create a personalised banner for your favourite St Albans player. Show your club pride with a custom banner that marks every special occasion.

Simple to Order

Choose a Single Player Banner and provide the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone. Our banners are printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty, weatherproof paper - tough enough for a bitter Melbourne winter or a warm afternoon in Melbourne's west.

Two Players, One Banner

When two St Albans players are marking the same milestone, our Two Player Banner lets you celebrate both at once. Provide each player's name and guernsey number for a quality dual banner your whole club will love.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

Our Team Banner option fits 3 to 6 players in a single banner. Set the top line - something like "St Albans FC - We Back Our Boys" - and let the banner tell the story. Perfect for presentation nights, finals, and group milestones.

Wall Keepsake Banners

Available in Small, Medium, and Large, our Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks. Hang your St Albans banner in the clubrooms, the garage, or the games room as a lasting tribute.

Grand Final Banners

Available in 4.5m and 5.5m, our Grand Final Banners can be fully customised with your own top and bottom text. Contact us for personalised design advice for your St Albans Football Club grand final banner.

About St Albans Football Club

Origins and Founding

St Albans Football Club was founded in 1947 following a public meeting held at the St Albans Fire Station in September 1946. That meeting brought together local residents determined to establish a football club for the growing western suburb of St Albans, and within months the Saints were competing in Melbourne's local football competition. The club is based at Kings Park Reserve in Kings Park, a north-western suburb of Melbourne, and has been a fixture of the local community for nearly eight decades.

Club History

St Albans competed in the Western Region Football League (WRFL) from the club's early years through to 2022, building a record of success that includes five Division One Premierships. Their most recent Division One flag came in 2001, and the club has also claimed one Division 2 Premiership. In 2022, St Albans made the significant move from the WRFL to the Essendon District Football League (EDFL), joining a competition better aligned with the club's geographic location and growth ambitions. Today the Saints field seven junior teams ranging from under-10s to under-18s, two open-age women's teams, and two senior men's teams.

Home Ground

The Saints' primary home is Kings Park Reserve in Kings Park, and the club also uses Errington Reserve and Delahey Reserve for training and matches. Kings Park Reserve provides the Saints with a well-established community sporting base in the heart of Melbourne's north-western suburbs. The use of multiple grounds reflects the club's broad junior and senior program and the scale of its operations across different age groups and competitions.

Community and Programs

St Albans Football Club is one of the more comprehensive community clubs in Melbourne's western corridor, running programs for juniors, women, and men. The junior program (under-10s to under-18s) provides a clear pathway from first kicks through to senior football, with the women's teams adding further depth to the club's participation offering. The Saints have long served the culturally diverse communities of St Albans, Kings Park, and the surrounding suburbs, and remain a key social institution for many families in the area.

Kings Park and St Albans

Kings Park is a suburb of Melbourne in the City of Brimbank, located approximately 18 kilometres north-west of the Melbourne CBD. It sits adjacent to St Albans, one of Melbourne's most multicultural suburbs, which has seen successive waves of immigration since the post-war era. The area is known for its community diversity, strong Vietnamese and other Asian community presence, and active local sports culture. The broader Brimbank area has a proud football history, and the St Albans Saints have been one of its most enduring clubs since 1947.

The Saints compete in the Essendon District Football League (EDFL) and call Kings Park Reserve home. Visit the St Albans Football Club website for registration details, news, and fixtures throughout the season.

  • Footy Banner Information

Material:  All Footy Banners are printed on 1.6 Metre high coated paper using permanent inks which will not run, even if they get wet.  They are fully recyclable.

How to Use:  We recommend taping broomsticks or plastic pipe to the ends of the banner to hold it flat whilst the player runs through it.  If you cut vertical slits in the banner in the centre, it creates a weak spot where it will break and look best when run through.  There are instructions and images for how to cut these in the FAQ section below.

On a windy day, cut smaller vertical slits in the Footy Banner so if the wind catches it, it doesn't rip too soon!  This is why we do not pre-cut them, and also so you can get photographs with your intact banner when it looks at it's best.

Tip: Some players choose to only cut one weak spot in their banner so it can be saved and displayed later by taping it back together on the back.

Pro Tip:  Cut the weak spot to one side of the mascot or team logo so it stays intact as well!

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
