Berwick North Tornados Banners - Celebrating Milestones at Timbarra

Every milestone reached by a Berwick North Tornados player is worth celebrating in style. FootyBanners.com crafts custom Tornados banners that the whole club can be proud of, from first-year juniors to experienced players hitting big game numbers.

Simple to Order

Choose your banner type - Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final. Supply the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Liam Fraser, #14, 50 Games. Your banner is printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper, so it can handle a brisk Melbourne winter morning at Timbarra Reserve without missing a beat.

Two Players, One Banner

Two Tornados players reaching a milestone at the same game? Our Two Player Banner brings both celebrations together. Provide each player's name and guernsey number, and we'll create a quality banner that puts both milestones front and centre.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

When 3 to 6 players share a milestone game, the Team Banner is the perfect choice. Add a punchy top-line message like "Go Tornados!" and a club tagline to send the team out in true Berwick North style.

Wall Keepsake Banners

Our Wall Keepsake Banners are available in Small, Medium, and Large sizes, printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks. Whether displayed in the Tornados clubrooms, a family home, or a player's bedroom, it's a permanent reminder of a special day.

Grand Final Banners

Available in 4.5m and 5.5m sizes, Grand Final Banners feature fully customised top and bottom text to get the Berwick North Tornados Junior Football Club ready to take the field. Contact us for friendly design assistance to make your Grand Final banner truly memorable.

About Berwick North Tornados Junior Football Club

Origins and Founding

The Berwick North Tornados Junior Football Club grew out of the Timbarra Auskick clinic in Berwick. From that Auskick program, the Timbarra Tornados Junior Football Club was formally established in 2009, giving children from the Timbarra estate and surrounding north Berwick area their first local junior football pathway. The club was renamed Berwick North Junior Football Club in 2016 to better reflect its broader community reach across northern Berwick, while retaining the Tornados name that had become part of the club's identity.

Club History

The Tornados competed in the South East Junior Football League (SEJFL) from the club's inception. The under-11s claimed the club's first premiership in 2012, the same year the new Timbarra Community Stadium was completed. A milestone home game day followed on Sunday 28 April 2013, when the club hosted its first match at the brand-new oval. Light towers were officially switched on at the ground on 5 June 2014 at an event attended by several Melbourne Football Club players, including Jack Watts, James Frawley, Shannon Byrnes, and Sam Blease. The club was recognised with the Best Conducted Club award in 2015, reflecting its strong administration and community culture. Today the Tornados field teams from under-8s through to under-14s.

Home Ground

The Tornados play at Timbarra Community Stadium in Berwick, which was purpose-built alongside the surrounding Timbarra housing estate. The ground was completed in 2012 and features lit ovals suitable for evening training and matches. The facility forms part of the broader Timbarra community precinct, serving as a sporting hub for families in the northern Berwick area.

Community and Programs

The Tornados retain their connection to Auskick as a feeder program, giving children as young as five their first taste of Australian football. The club prides itself on a welcoming and family-friendly environment, with an active volunteer base that has been recognised at league level. Junior development is central to the club's mission, and the Tornados work to provide a positive pathway for young players from Auskick through to under-14 level before they transition to senior clubs.

Berwick

Berwick is a well-established suburb in Melbourne's south-east, located approximately 41 kilometres from the CBD within the City of Casey. With a total suburb population of around 50,298 at the 2021 Census, Berwick is known for its blend of historic village character, leafy streets, and growing modern residential estates such as Timbarra. The area is home to Haileybury College and the Monash University Berwick Campus, and has a strong tradition of community sport.

The Tornados compete in the South East Junior Football League and call Timbarra Community Stadium home. For more information, visit the Berwick North Tornados website or find them on Facebook.

    • Premium Coated Paper (1.6 m high) printed with permanent, waterproof inks—won’t run or fade, even in wet weather.

    🔧 Preparation & Run-Through Setup - Expert instructions for break-through milestone banners.

    • Rigging Your Banner

      • Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.

      • This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.

    • Creating the Break-Through Slits

      • Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

      • Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.

    💡 Tips & Tricks

    • Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.

    • Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
