Box Hill North Banners - Eastern Suburbs Football Milestones Done Right

Whether it's a player's 100th game for the Supers or a big final push in Melbourne's east, FootyBanners.com crafts custom banners that capture the moment. Order yours today and show the Box Hill North community what they mean to their supporters.

Simple to Order

Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner styles. For a player banner, provide the name, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Nathan Clarke, #22, 100 Games. All banners are printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper that holds firm through a bitter Melbourne winter at the footy.

Two Players, One Banner

When two Supers players hit the same milestone on the same game day, our Two Player Banner lets you celebrate them together in one great display. Just provide both names and guernsey numbers and we'll produce a quality banner the whole club will enjoy.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

For 3 to 6 players being honoured together, our Team Banner is the standout option. Feature a top-line message like "Go Supers!" and list every player being recognised. A brilliant choice for a milestone round or Box Hill North presentation night.

Wall Keepsake Banners

Available in Small, Medium, and Large, our Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks that last. Hang a Supers keepsake in the clubrooms, garage, or games room as a lasting tribute to a big season.

Grand Final Banners

Available in 4.5m and 5.5m sizes with fully customised top and bottom text, our Grand Final Banners make the biggest day of the season even more memorable. Contact us for design advice and let FootyBanners.com help Box Hill North Football Club run through a banner to remember.

About Box Hill North Football Club

Origins and Founding

Box Hill North Football Club was formed in 1983 through a merger of two local clubs - Blackburn United (formed around 1940) and St Andrews Box Hill (formed around 1960). The newly merged club carried the name Box Hill North and built on the heritage of both founding clubs to establish a united community football identity in Melbourne's eastern suburbs. The club is known locally as the Demons and has grown steadily across more than four decades.

Club History

Box Hill North won their first premiership in 1991 and added a second flag in 1995, both before their admission to the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA) in 2002. The VAFA is regarded as one of the most competitive amateur leagues in Australia, and Box Hill North have competed in Division 2 men's and Division 3 women's competitions in recent seasons. A distinctive feature of the club's culture is its sister-club relationship with the Japan Australian Rules Football League, established through past president Simon Evans who lived in Japan and became involved with Australian football there. The club periodically sends teams to Japan to compete in the Japan AFL Cup, strengthening international ties within the community football world.

Home Ground

The Demons play at Elgar Park, located at the corner of Elgar and Belmore Roads in Box Hill North. The park is a well-established community reserve providing oval facilities for football and other sports. The club's Masters (Super Rules) teams also train and play in the eastern suburbs circuit, with their own program running alongside the senior men's and women's competition.

Community and Programs

Box Hill North runs men's seniors, reserves, and thirds competitions, plus senior women's and a strong Masters program covering men's 35+, men's 50+, and women's 35+ divisions under the Super Rules format. The club has a thriving Supers program with its own website at bhnsupers.com and Facebook page. The club's women's program has been growing in recent seasons, with players such as Lilly Griffiths earning VAFA Rising Star recognition in 2024.

Box Hill North

Box Hill North is a residential suburb of Melbourne in the City of Whitehorse, located 14 kilometres east of the CBD. With a population of 12,337 recorded at the 2021 Census, the suburb is well connected by public transport and sits adjacent to the major Box Hill activity centre, which is known for its multicultural character, extensive shopping, and one of Melbourne's largest hospital precincts.

The Demons compete in the Victorian Amateur Football Association and call Elgar Park home. For more information, visit the Box Hill North Football Club website, find them on Facebook, or follow them on Instagram.

    📄 Material & Construction

    • Premium Coated Paper (1.6 m high) printed with permanent, waterproof inks—won’t run or fade, even in wet weather.

    • Eco-friendly & Recyclable: All banners are fully recyclable when the celebration is over.

    • Durable weatherproof sports banners printed on heavy-duty coated paper - these banners are not made of crepe paper.

    🔧 Preparation & Run-Through Setup - Expert instructions for break-through milestone banners.

    • Rigging Your Banner

      • Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.

      • This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.

    • Creating the Break-Through Slits

      • Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

      • Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.

    💡 Tips & Tricks

    • Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.

    • Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
