Everton Wolves Banners - Honour Every Wolves Milestone

Whether it's a young Wolf running onto the ground for their 50th game or a club veteran reaching an historic milestone, FootyBanners.com makes it simple to create a custom banner that the Everton community will be proud of. Our banners are made for supporters who know the Wolves pack inside and out.

Simple to Order

Choose from a Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final Banner. For single player milestones, you'll need the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and achievement - for example, Alex Hunt, #21, 100 Games. Banners are printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty, weatherproof paper, built to hold up under any sweltering Brisbane afternoon on the Everton sideline.

Two Players, One Banner

Two Wolves players hitting the same milestone on the same match day? Our Two Player Banner puts them both in the spotlight on one great banner. Both players must share the same milestone, and you'll need each player's name and guernsey number to complete the order.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

Celebrate the whole pack with a Team Banner featuring 3 to 6 players. Add a custom top-line message like "Wolves - Everton Premiers" and make the day one the whole club will look back on with pride. Whether it's a milestone round or a finals push, a Team Banner is the perfect tribute.

Wall Keepsake Banners

Available in Small, Medium, and Large, our Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks. Display them in the Wolves clubrooms, your games room, or on the wall at home - a lasting reminder of what it means to run with the pack.

Grand Final Banners

When the Everton Wolves make it to the grand final, make sure the banner does the moment justice. Grand Final Banners come in 4.5m and 5.5m sizes with fully customised top and bottom text. Contact us for design advice and we'll help create something the whole club will be proud to run through.

About Everton Wolves Junior AFL Club

Origins and Founding

Everton Wolves Junior AFL Club began officially in October 1969 following a public meeting, though the club's roots stretch back further through its founding families and predecessor clubs. The Wolves were formed from local families as well as from the Golden Valley Football Club and the Oakleigh Football Club (which later became Ashgrove FC), both of which no longer exist. In 1975, the club merged with Golden Valley, significantly strengthening its player base and community reach. Based in Brisbane's northern suburbs and competing through AFL Queensland, the Everton Wolves have been a fixture in junior Australian rules football in the Everton Park and Gaythorne area for more than 55 years.

Club History

Since their founding in 1969, the Wolves have grown through multiple eras of junior football participation in Brisbane's northern suburbs. The club experienced periods of growth tied to the broader expansion of Australian rules football in Queensland. By 2025, the club reached a record 300+ registered players - the highest participation numbers since the 1975 merger with Golden Valley. This milestone reflects the success of the club's philosophy: maximum participation and a culture that does not prioritise winning above the welfare and development of its players.

Home Ground

The Everton Wolves play at facilities in the Gaythorne and Everton Park area of Brisbane's northern suburbs. The club operates across several age-group competitions under the AFL Queensland junior competition structure, with training, games, and club activities held throughout the football season from March through September.

Community and Programs

The Wolves run programs for children from Auskick age through to under-18 junior football, offering pathways for players of all skill levels. The club's emphasis on community, family involvement, and character development underpins its approach to junior sport. Coaches and volunteers dedicate significant time to creating a safe and encouraging environment, and the club regularly draws new players from the growing residential communities across the Everton Park, Gaythorne, and surrounding suburbs.

Everton Park

Everton Park is a suburb located approximately 8 kilometres north of the Brisbane CBD within the City of Brisbane. With a population of around 7,700 people as of the 2021 Census, it is a well-established residential suburb with a mix of families and young professionals. The suburb borders Stafford Heights, Gaythorne, and McDowall, and is part of Brisbane's inner-northern corridor with easy access to the CBD and major transport links.

The Wolves compete in AFL Queensland junior competitions and call Gaythorne home. Visit evertonwolves.com.au and follow the club on Facebook.

    • Premium Coated Paper (1.6 m high) printed with permanent, waterproof inks—won’t run or fade, even in wet weather.

    🔧 Preparation & Run-Through Setup - Expert instructions for break-through milestone banners.

    • Rigging Your Banner

      • Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.

      • This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.

    • Creating the Break-Through Slits

      • Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

      • Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.

    💡 Tips & Tricks

    • Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.

    • Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
