Origins and Founding
The Melton South Junior Football Netball Club was established in 1975 and is one of the founding junior sporting clubs of the Melton area. Known as the Panthers, the club provides junior football and netball programs for players of all ages and abilities across Melbourne's western growth corridor. From Auskick entry programs through to Under-18 competition, the Panthers have been nurturing local talent and building community through sport for five decades.

Club History
Since its founding in 1975, the Melton South Junior FNC has grown alongside the remarkable residential expansion of the City of Melton. The club's founding philosophy - prioritising player development and a love of the game over pure results - has guided its growth through generations of Panthers families. The club has expanded its programs to include both boys' and girls' football alongside netball as community demand has grown, and the Melton South Junior FNC is now recognised as one of the largest and most active junior sporting clubs in Melton. The Panthers compete in AFL Victoria junior competitions each season, with teams fielded in multiple age groups across both football and netball.

Home Ground
The Panthers play their home games at Melton Recreation Reserve on Reserve Road, Melton VIC 3337. The reserve is a well-equipped multi-sport facility in the heart of Melton, providing quality grounds and club amenities for training and competition throughout the AFL Victoria junior season.
