About Narre South Saints Football Netball Club
Origins and Founding
Narre South Saints Football Netball Club was formed in 2007 under the auspices of St Francis Xavier College in Beaconsfield, providing a community football and netball outlet for the rapidly growing suburbs of Melbourne's south-east. The club established itself at Strathaird Reserve in Narre Warren South, where it has remained ever since. From these school-based beginnings, the Saints grew into a dual-code club serving both junior and senior competition across the Narre Warren corridor.

Club History
The Narre South Saints now field separate junior and senior programs. The junior club competes in the South East Junior Football League (SEJFL), providing pathways for boys and girls from Under 7 through to Under 16. The senior football and netball club competes in Division 3 of the Southern Football Netball League (SFNL), one of Victoria's largest community football competitions, spanning clubs from Port Melbourne to the Mornington Peninsula and south-east suburbs. As the surrounding population has grown, so too has the Saints' membership base, cementing the club as a cornerstone of football in the Narre Warren community.

Home Ground
The Saints play at Strathaird Reserve on Community Parade in Narre Warren South. The reserve accommodates both the football oval and netball courts, serving as a shared facility for juniors and seniors. Located in a growing residential area, the ground sits at the heart of the community it serves, providing accessible facilities for players and families from across the southern Casey region.

Community and Programs
The junior program accepts players from Under 7 through Under 16, with teams for both boys and girls competing weekly in the SEJFL. The club is known for its family-friendly, inclusive culture and is actively recruiting players and volunteers as the Narre Warren South community continues to grow. The senior club fields football and netball sides in the SFNL, providing a pathway for junior players to progress through to senior competition within the same club.

Narre Warren South
Narre Warren South is an outer suburb of Melbourne in the City of Casey, situated approximately 45 kilometres south-east of Melbourne's CBD. It recorded a population of 30,909 at the 2021 census, making it one of the larger suburban localities in Melbourne's outer south-east. The area has experienced significant residential growth over the past two decades, driven by new estates and proximity to the Monash Freeway and major regional facilities including Casey RACE and the Berwick Town Centre.
