North Heidelberg Bulldogs Banners - Proud, Passionate, Bulldogs
Every milestone deserves recognition, and FootyBanners.com creates custom banners that do justice to the North Heidelberg Bulldogs. Celebrate your player with a run-through as impressive as their achievement.
Simple to Order
We offer Single Player, Two Player, Team, and Grand Final banner options. To personalise your order, provide the player's name, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Chris Walker, #8, 150 Games. Printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper, your banner will hold up on even the coldest winter morning in Melbourne's north.
Two Players, One Banner
Two Bulldogs marking the same milestone calls for a Two Player Banner - the perfect way to honour both players side by side. Simply provide both names, guernsey numbers, and the shared milestone for a quality keepsake banner.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Feature 3 to 6 players on a Team Banner and give the whole group a moment to remember. A top-line message like "Go Bulldogs!" or something tailored to the team adds real impact on a big occasion.
Wall Keepsake Banners
Our Wall Keepsake Banners are available in Small, Medium, and Large, printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks built to last. Display your North Heidelberg Bulldogs banner with pride in the clubrooms, the garage, or the games room at home.

Go all out on grand final day with a 4.5m or 5.5m banner featuring fully customised top and bottom text for the North Heidelberg Bulldogs Football Club. Contact us and we'll help you design something the whole club will be proud of.
About North Heidelberg Football Club
Origins and Founding
The North Heidelberg Football Club - known as the Bulldogs - was founded in 1958 in Heidelberg West, a suburb of Melbourne's inner north-east. Club records show a full committee was in place from the 1958 season with founding president B. Anderson. The club began competing in local competitions in the City of Banyule area before eventually joining what is now the Northern Football Netball League (NFNL), where it currently competes in Division 1. The Bulldogs take their name from a tradition of fierce, low-to-the-ground tenacity that has defined the club's playing style across more than six decades of football.
Club History
North Heidelberg has won six A-Grade premierships across their history: 1962, 1978, 1985, 1987, 1994, and 2005. The club has produced several notable AFL players, most prominently Robert Harvey - a Hall of Fame inductee who played 383 games for St Kilda - as well as Jake King (Collingwood) and Jason Heatley (St Kilda). In 2025 the club made history when the Bulldogs women's team claimed their first ever NFNL Women's Division 3 premiership, defeating Heidelberg West in a close final. The club competed in the Diamond Valley Football League before transitioning to the NFNL when the competition rebranded in 2007.
Home Ground
The Bulldogs play their home games at ASA Park (Shelley Street Reserve), located on Shelley Street in Heidelberg Heights. The ground has served as the club's home for many years and houses the club's football and netball programs as well as the social clubrooms. The club operates across senior men's football, senior women's football, reserves, Under 18s, and netball sides.
Community and Programs
The North Heidelberg Sporting Club provides a social calendar of events year-round, with game day at ASA Park described by club members as a family-friendly environment open to all of the Heidelberg Heights and Heidelberg West community. The club's junior football programs feed into the senior Bulldogs pathways, with strong connections to local families who have supported the club across multiple generations since 1958.
Heidelberg Heights
Heidelberg Heights is a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, adjacent to Heidelberg and located approximately 11 kilometres north-east of the Central Business District within the City of Banyule local government area. The area is part of the broader Heidelberg district, which was one of Melbourne's earliest rural settlements. The northern suburbs of Melbourne have long supported a strong Australian rules football culture, with clubs like North Heidelberg tracing their history back to the 1950s.
The Bulldogs compete in the Northern Football Netball League Division 1 and call ASA Park in Heidelberg Heights home. Visit the club website for more information, follow them on Facebook, and follow them on Instagram for news and match day updates.

-
Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
